I use this to scan large automotive parts and the results blew me away. It took me maybe 2 hours to get it figured out but that is pretty minimal for something so advanced. I will say you have to have a very good computer to make it useable, a cheap laptop will not work for this. Having a good graphics card and a good amount of ram is essential. It is also sensitive to the reflectivity of whatever you're scanning. It did lose where its at pretty easily with some of my bigger scans and it took some patience but if you take your time and have good lighting it works well.

Worse than the Ferret Pro I returned and I’m still waiting for my refund! Won’t connect in Windows. In Mac the laser lines jump all over and the scan is worse than a phone app. Message pops up for Windows saying uninstall all the Windows security updates which can’t be uninstalled! Pure junk and the Raptor Pro is going back. Watched a lot of video and neither scanner worked ANYTHING like the paid for ad videos.

The accuracy is great, however it did take me some time to perform a calibration, being a first time 3D scanner user, never even saw a video about it and following the Application prompt/example had me trying to figure this out for quite a while, until I gave up and looked up a youtube video of someone performing the calibration and notice what I was doing wrong. Do not follow the prompts rather check the techniques of online users. You'll get much better results.
