Nicely sealed upon arrival, so everything was soft. It has been easy to keep it stored in a plastic bag (tightly wrapped) and so far no drying out has been observed. It's very easy to work with, though it takes some extra effort to blend pieces together. It will flake and dry in little pieces, but if you use water while working then you can avoid that. You can also patch any cracks with slip and water pretty easily as larger pieces dry. It will be somewhat difficult to use armatures without cracking, but I think it's doable if you go slow and steady. ... show more

This "clay" is terrible! It was very difficult to work with. But after we did make objects as it was drying they crumbled apart! If you touch the dried product it turned into powder! You can't paint it without it falling apart! Save your money and find something else to buy!

The 10 lbs of clay is obviously huge, so It'll last me forever without needing to get more. When it's used on its own, there's no cracking, it dries great if a little fragile until set with modge podge or resin.

We used this to get some handprints off poured cement at our old house. We wanted to take our memories with us :) We molded the clay carefully and pushed it against the handprints and left it overnight to dry. The clay dries relatively quick depending on how much clay you used. The kids played with some smaller pieces while I got the handprints and by the time I was done, their smaller pieces (size of an apple airpod case) were already getting hard in some spots. Clay dried good. It does feel fragile, depending on how thing your pieces are. I don't have any prior experience using clay so for being my first time, I would recommend this product as it was uncomplicated, easy to use to and priced fairly! ... show more
