This is awesome! I wanted to make some dollhouse food and other little things with my kids, ages 2 and 5, but I was worried that Sculpey or Fimo would be too hard for them to manage, especially the 2-year-old. There were no issues with this! The clay is soft and sticky, firmer than Play-Doh but still easy enough for my kids to manage on their own. The case is nice (although not the most durable) and everything fits back inside well, and there's a great variety of handheld cutting and shaping tools, as well as some jewelry bits and bobs. Pre-baking, colors tend to transfer a bit with this extremely soft, somewhat sticky clay, but the quality is on par for the price point. Back in the1990s, my preferred polymer clay was Fimo, which is considerably firmer (and pricier). This set, on the other hand, has plenty of fun, entry-level clay that is well-suited for children, those dealing with hand strain or strength challenges, or newbies curious to try a new medium. The baking fumes are thankfully low-key. Includes lots of colors, more tools than I know what to do with, and even some jewelry findings. While the clay may not be ideal for refined beading or intricate figures, this is a great introduction to the creative possibilities that this medium has to offer. ... show more

I’ve always bought clay at hobby lobby, and it’s super expensive. I recently moved and didn’t take it with me, so this is my first time buying from anywhere else, and I’m so happy!! The clay is a little stickier than what I’m used to, and I got a few bubbles when I baked (my oven runs hot, I cooled it down a bit and the rest came out perfectly), but for the price it’s wonderful!! As long as you reinforce bigger projects inside with tin foil and toothpicks (like Donnie in my first picture), you’ll be just fine. There are so many colors and tools, and it came in a cute little box that fit everything perfectly. There are also accessories, which are super cute. There are ring pieces, earring adaptors, tiny hoops for ornaments, beads, and my favorite is the super cute little golden bells!! They actually ring pretty well even when attached to something, which I’m very happy with. Theres also a little reference/tutorial book, which gave me the idea for the holly on Santa’s hat! Again, super cute, would recommend to any beginner or intermediate sculptor :) Great for beads, ornaments, figurines, and I haven’t tried jewelry yet, but I certainly have the supplies to, now! Overall- I’m very happy with this product and will definitely order again when I run out. What I think the best way to use this is, is to get a cheap chunk of just white clay and make the general shape, then cover over it and detail with this. ... show more

Had fun with kids however, the quality of the clay a bit low and too much moisture, manufacture put to much oil to keep the clay soft, causing too soft and sticky and color comes off, colored hand and table. Anyways good value for the price, easy to use. Need some improvement.
