This is very easy to use in small applications. I've been using it to pour copper rounds, and simple shapes. It's very easy to work with. I can make something simple to pour into in five minutes, and have it work flawlessly. I'm very new at this. I'm still learning. It work veey well when I received it. I added a little oil to it and it worked even better for my needs. It was good for casting rings and such.....although the rings came out a little rough they looked good. I actually like the rougher texture.
