This little guy is nice!! If you need any replacement parts look up black and decker replacement parts for sander. Not all of the parts are compatible but do some research to see which parts are. I bought spare rubber backing pads for b&d and they’ll fit the craftsman, but again double check the pics and description before you purchase. Hopes this helps someone.. ... show more

1 star for battery life. It does not come with batteries. Why that is a rating for a tool they sell without out a battery is silly. I have craftsman batteries already at 2amp hrs and 4 amp hrs. They last as they should. Craftsman is making some decent stuff.

I like that it's powerful enough, compact, has dust collection port and bag as well as I can use it with the same battery and charger as my other 20 volt craftsman tools so I was able to purchase tool only. The only downside is the battery placement is an awkward position and takes some getting used to. At first it seemed and felt awkward but I adapted and it feels better after getting used to it. My only big complaint is it arrived over a week late. Said delivered in app but it wasn't and then low and behold after I called about not getting it and was told that they wouldn't be responsible for loss or theft it arrived about 5 days later unexpectedly but just glad I got it and wasn't out the 59 bucks ... show more

This thing was a great find: Small but totally effective for a (total) novice to spot-sand some peeling areas on front porch before painting. Best of all, it uses the same batteries I already have for my Craftsman leaf blower and my hedge trimmer.

I like the feel of this sander, and the low price. I have 3 of these and will probably buy more. The design of this sander is perfect, it fits my hand perfectly and is easy to use as far as a great balance.
