  • A Battery-Driven Belt Sander You Never Knew You Needed.
Style: Cordless Detail Sander
I love this ‘Craftsman Belt Sander’. It uses DeWalt 20 Volt batteries so I didn’t have to buy two new, $100 batteries; I just use the DeWalt batteries I already have on hand. The tiny sanding point allows entry to small openings like the house door locking hole and slot so you can easily grind the door locks to get a perfect fit. Other household jobs also benefit from the use of this little sander. Changing the sanding belt is easy and has an adjustment knob to keep the belt centered on the front roller. This Belt sander has an attachment to screw onto the side of the sander where the circulation air from the motor exits. The attachment allows you to connect a small shop vacuum that seems to suck in enough exiting dust to remove about a magnitude of that produced dust. Still, you need a face mask & protective eyeware (not reading glasses), because some of that dust exits at the point of contact with the sanded surface, mostly as a light mist, before it reaches the vacuum cleaner area. I have used Craftsman tools since I was a child 60 years ago and they have always been quality products. Well worth the money to be able to add a professional finish to home DIY jobs. ... show more

  • Works Good
Style: Cordless Detail Sander
Works good, not a bad price, partly because I have many craftsmen batters already.

  • Great tool
Style: Cordless Detail Sander
I needed a sander and I was looking at a DeWalt because I have a lot of the DeWalt batteries. But I ended up buying an adapter and the Craftsman tool still less than the DeWalt and I think it's a better quality. I'm very satisfied with this product

  • Best cordless finger sander I have!
Style: Cordless Detail Sander
This is a great tool! I also have the Makita and dewalt 20v finger sanders…but this is my favorite. It’s lighter, easier to grip and hold in awkward positions. My dewalt is good, but there’s no lock on trigger…and that makes it hard to use if you always have to have your finger on the trigger. And the Makita you can only use their proprietary belt size which stinks. Also I didn’t have to buy craftsman batteries…I have an adapter that uses my Dewalt batteries on this tool. Very happy with this tool. …longevity we will see. ... show more

  • Work well but does better with more power.
Style: Cordless Detail Sander
I've been using corded power files for years. Getting rid of the cord was great. I did convert it to 24 volts but it files like crazy now.

  • It will sand anything
Style: Cordless Detail Sander
Small and maneuverable. Good quality and sands great. Wish they gave you more belts. I used them too quick. Good quality.
