The light was well packed and everything arrived in good shape. It's a beautiful fixture, well made. Everything fits together nicely, and it's sold at a great price for the quality. The reason I didn't give it five stars is that the placement of the light bulb socket is such that the light is not centered in the globe. I suppose I can look for a shorter length bulb to move the brightness towards the center, but with a standard bulb it looks like it's giving someone the side-eye. If this would bother you I'd consider getting a different fixture. Update : you can use a standard base fan light, which brings the light close to the center of the domes. ... show more

Our bathroom fixtures are brushed nickel and this light fixture matches perfectly! With 4 light bulbs it provides a lot of light. Others complained that the bulb wasn't centered behind the shade, but if you use a globe shape bulb or ones used for ceiling fans, both of which you can buy as LEDs, the shorter size bulb is centered behind the shade and looks better. Each of the 4 60W LED light bulbs I installed uses only 5 W of electricity, 20W total, providing plenty of light with minimal heat. ... show more

The light fixture itself is decent for the price. The metal frame is lightweight and bends easily. So, the corners were dinged as well as a bit of the long 48" sides. I was able to move it back into shape, so that isn't a biggie. There is a protective silverish film that one could see from the damaged corners though. I am guessing that in future years, this might be unattractive, but it didn't affect the current look. The instructions were for a different vanity light fixture, but luckily, I had a pro install it who could work around some things. Lastly, one of the glass shades was broken upon opening the box. The fixture was already installed, so it was too late to return the item. Ho hum. ... show more

This did arrive with a minor chip in the glass, but it was discounted so not a big deal. The metal was slightly tweaked but likely from delivery. Looks great up! Well worth the money.

This unit looked like I expected, but it came with a little damage to the upper right corner. It was dented. Since I was putting it in a bathroom where the approach was going to be from the left of the light, I just straightened it out and put it up and it couldn't be seen. The repair did mar the surface, but like I said - you can't see it. I am disappointed that they sent me a damaged unit. I knew this going in - due to the position of the bulb the light is not in the center of the globe. I find it doesn't bother me. The unit was easy to install and works just fine. It actually provides quite a lot of light to the bathroom I put it in and I didn't even go with the maximum watts. ... show more

I had checked Lamps Plus, Lowes, Home Depot. No one had anything this unique-at a terrific price, too! It is gorgeous. I love the deco look. The glass shades are beautifully textured and bright. In my small bathroom, this is a centerpiece, and 75 watt bulbs are bright, bright, bright! This fixture looks very expensive. One of my best buys ever! ... show more

This light fixture fit the bill and does the job. It looks pretty good and is constructed well but the light sockets are also on the left side of the bulb housing which causes the light to emit from the right side of the glass instead of the center. It isn't too noticeable, unless you use CFL's, but I'm very nit-picky. ... show more
