My 4-year-old loved these...right up until she broke them. She disconnected them from an iPad to come help me unload the car from a grocery store run...dragging the cord behind her. Before I noticed and could tell her to take them off, the cord got stuck under the car tire and as she ran inside, the cord to one of the headphones broke. The ear piece is a soft, round, felt covered pad about the size of a half dollar that moves inside the headband. As she ran, the cord got stuck and the ear pieces were pulled out of the headband, but one got stuck. Obviously our fault, and I still gave them five stars because these are such a great idea! She's super bummed (one ear piece still works), but we may try to use ear buds inside instead. It should still be more comfortable than traditional headphones or putting earbuds IN the ear...and definitely fun to wear for the child! I definitely recommend these...just remind your child not to drag the cord around. My daughter never did that with other headphones/earbuds, but I think because it took some time and adjustments to get them on just right (with her long hair she did have to work a bit to get hair out of her face and tuck under the band comfortably) and since they felt like a beanie or headband rather than headphones, it was easier for her to just take them out of the iPad rather than take the headphones off. Also, the earphone pieces move inside the band so putting them on initially means adjusting their location. That's a great feature to ensure they're placed right for every head, but putting them on just right took some time...hence why she wanted to simply disconnect the cord rather than take off the cozyphones...plus the unicorn looked super cute...who'd want to take that off? Lol 😉 A few tears later, lesson was learned and we still have half the headset working and a cute headband we'll try to use with earbuds! Still worth the purchase (and maybe we'll get another set for her next birthday). ... show more

These are super cute and almost a perfect headphone solution for a little one. Their one major flaw: the round, sound producing part slides through a slit and into the band (good so you can pull them out and throw the headband in the wash) BUT there is nothing to holding the headphones in place! Several times my daughter thought they were “broken”- they are volume-limited so without the discs directly over your ears- you really can’t hear much (I tried). They are also very difficult to move inside the fleece. (Even for me- forget the kid) So the easy, she could do it herself headphones, became a pain-every time. The FIX: VELCRO! A piece on each side, inside the band and a small piece on the back of each round headphone. Adjust these babies once and you’re good to go! I suggest sewing the (soft side) Velcro into the band, so they can still be easily washed...but sticky would probably work too (at least for a little while) No judgment here- use whatever you’ve got. Just KNOW- if you’re looking for the easy, quick, kid can do it themselves headphone solution... These are PERFECT- as long as you don’t mind getting a little creative/crafty FIRST! ... show more

    • Great idea, good execution, but falls short of being a "this is IT" product.

I thought these would solve the issue of kids + headphones and for the most part, they do. But they're only good for some situations - like quiet areas, and for kids over 6 (or younger kids with larger heads). Problem is, my kids only use/need headphones while traveling. My take after purchasing two for my kids (aged 4 and 6): Pros: - Kids can put them on themselves - Volume limited - Long cord so movement isn't restricted - Soft and cozy, very comfortable to wear - OMG so cute Cons: - Product pics show small kids, but this is still just a bit too large as they weren't really securely snug on a six-year-old and I had to roll the band a bit to make a tighter fit. - The speakers are located pretty far back in the band, so they actually rest behind the ears, not on them - Between location of the speakers in the band, and the volume-limiting, I wouldn't really recommend them for flights. The ambient noise on an airplane was overpowering and the kids took them off - it was too faint to hear anything so they found it annoying and chose to play iPad games without sound. So, these will do for now and I'll continue to pack them for travel, but I haven't stopped looking for the perfect solution. ... show more

Bought these for a trip out of the country and never used before travel date. Once on the plane plugged them in and got static no sound at all. Out of the country so can't return for refund in time. So stuck with faulty product. Great idea but need improvement.

These headphones are absolutely perfect for kids in car seats. They fit comfortably on the head and have adorable designs to choose from. The cord is a little longer which is nice if you have the device mounted to the headrest in front. The volume / sound quality is good. Definitely recommend
