Very nice quality socks. Can't do better than merino wool. I wear a size 10 shoe and the medium-large fit perfect. Not too crazy about the compression packaging, but they do fluff up to their intended shape after a little while even without the suggested dryer routine. Nice padding in the toe and heel but not so much that it feels unnatural. Have not used them in cold weather yet but am confident that they will be warm just from wearing them now and the fact that they are merino.
