Used to run water hose out to dock. Sits out in weather and after 2 months is none worse for the wear, but has only been two months. Have another Cox real just like this one only little bigger that I use to run the electricity out to the dock and it has been out in weather for past 2 years and still looks like new (after the dust is washed off). Works well for both purposes and is definitely a quality item. A little pricey but worth the bucks and I would definitely buy again. ... show more

Product looks great and spins nicely. Currently cannot attach separately purchased hose as the size of adapter that came with the hose doesn't fit.

I use this on my wildland firefighting trailer. Great value, well manufactured, and handles slightly more that 100 feet of 3/4" id hose. No leaking on the swivel when pushing 100 psi. This reel should last many years. It doesn't have a tension brake but I have found that there is enough rolling resistance on the bearings that the hose doesn't over-unroll hose when pulling hose off at a good walking pace. Rewinding 100 feet of hose only takes a minute. ... show more

The reel is a great piece but the description is misleading. (1" Hose ID, 100' Length) if you read this in description you would think the reel came with 100' of 1'' hose. I reported this to Amazon and received many apologies which is all fine and dandy but I see that the ad still reads the same so they can confuse the next customer that wants a reel and hose assembly only to their surprise when they open the box they fine a missing hose and then the new customer has to waste time trying to fine out where hose is, which also is complicated. ... show more

Just received the package today, comes with a broken box , the side of the reel it’s curved and a missing handle , just did a return and cost me $300 . Extremely disappointed with this .🤬🤬🤬
