So the entire reason I ordered this particular ice maker was because of the app that tells you when it needs water, if the ice tray is full, turn it on remotely, or to schedule a start time. When you download the app via the qr code or directly from the play store, the app immediately shuts down no matter what is tried, so the app is broken (at least on android) after trying different things including other ice maker apps (which I figured would work). What I was able to do to get it to work is to download an earlier version release of the app (1.1.37) via APKpure. This is not something I recommend someone to do unless you are confident you know how to verify there is no malware in an apk file. I also had play protect scan the apk and it said it was safe to use. The app is now working & so far no issues with anything

This ice maker is a great replacement for my old ice maker. I also like that the app lets me know when my ice maker is full and I can turn it off at work or wherever I am.

This ice maker works really well. It makes the ice really fast and is a good value for what you pay. You can definitely hear it but it is not too loud.
