I bought this as a gift for friends as a housewarming present for their summer home. It’s well designed, quiet while it’s working, and produces ice pretty quickly. Also love that it’s fairly compact in size. My brother bought me one a long time ago which gave me the idea to give an ice machine as a gift. Frankly, the one we have is huge by comparison and very loud. Suffice it to say that when ours eventually craps out (or sooner) we will be buying this same model for ourselves as a replacement. Will take up a lot LESS counter space and I’ll be able to hear myself think while it’s running. They even thought to add an ice scoop that sits in its own holder inside. So happy our friends love it. We have ice maker envy!

This thing is pretty quiet, leaves no taste on the ice which is good. It is more for making the ice and you can bag it and place it in freezer. If you leave ice in it over night even with the unit on the ice will start to melt. It is not a fridge. Other than that it does a really good job. In about an hour the bucket will be full.

Ice machine was easy to set up. Once plugged in doesn't take long for Ice to be produced. No off button.

The ice maker does it job. The unit itself was larger than I thought so it wouldn't fit on my counter. The ice is easy to get out. It has held up for the past year. It can be ver noisy when it is making the ice. Plus, it will randomly stop making ice when there is water in it.

Even with regular cleaning it lasted 4-5 months then just stopped working. The arm inside went wonky and it made ice so slow by the time they dropped theyre already half melted . Save the trouble and choose anything else!!

piece of garbage, light constantly comes on saying to add water when the water level is at max. have to hit the start button every minute from 6 to 10 times to get it to make 1 tray of hollow ice cubes. waste of money!!!! this was a gift for my father, worst gift ever!

If you are looking for an ice maker that pumps out a LOT of ice, this is for you. It does have some cons, like it's loud and very big. Much bigger than I expected, since I bought it to put in my motor home and I have limited space. I did make 24 lbs of ice in less than 16 hours, so it does comes in handy if you are needing a lot of ice. I purchased 50 of the bags and it worked out very well. Still large and on the loud side.
