It took me about 15 minutes to get these put together - very minimal assembly. The material of the seat itself is quite nice and cleans easily. The metal frame was a bit more hollow/lightweight than I expected, but it's stable and doesn't wobble around. As far as comfort, the back is adequate (a tad low on the back, but not uncomfortable), but the armrest is very firm which can become irritating if you're sitting long-term. But for social settings and casual sitting it's more than adequate and will add a nice aesthetic to any home.

The product doesn’t quite pull off the leather look as well as it could but overall it’s nicely padded and still looks pretty nice. The legs are sturdy and it was very easy to put together. I like the low curves that serve as small armrests and they look really nice tucked underneath the counter.

I agree with the earlier comments that most of the holes don't match together for this KATDANS Counter Height Stools-24 Inch Bar Chair. How I was able to finally put it together was smashing the legs on the ground to push the holes into place. The holes at the bottom of the chair for the most difficult to line up, and required my utmost patience. Make sure you only screw about 50% in place until everything is in before tightening, or else the misalignment will drive anyone to give up. But amazingly, they were able to be put up together after a lot of patience. The chairs himself are very comfortable, though, and sturdy. They come in a set of two, with the screws separated into two sets. The instructions are very much straightforward, just that the screws don't align easily.

Setup was pretty straight forward. Stools are nice and sturdy, plus comfortable. My only complaint is that one of the bolts did not thread in properly. I turned in a few times and the threading completely rubbed off, on just one leg. I had to drill a hole and attach a longer bolt I had laying around with a nut to hold it. Not too pleased, but it was just that one hole.

I don’t care much for these. For starters, make sure you’re paying attention to the height in dimensions. They’re not very tall and may not be to your taste when it comes to a barstool. Secondly, I find them a little too narrow and uncomfortable to sit in. The “arms” aren’t really serving a purpose as arms because they’re way too short, so they’re kind of just in the way. I’m 200 pounds and while I know I’m not thin, I’m not that big either. So, use that to gauge whether you’ll like sitting in them. As for the assembly, I had a tough go of it. I’ve put several pieces of RTA furniture together over the years and these are up there with some of the most aggravating. They’re not difficult in terms of understanding, but rather mechanically. It’s hard getting things to line up and assembling the legs takes a lot of twisting and force that I felt like was unnecessary. Overall, these just aren’t really worth the hassle in my opinion because they don’t look good enough neither are they big enough. They’re short and too narrow. Kind of reminds me of a kid’s booster seat that’s sitting on metal stilts. If you were just looking for something to fill a space and liked the look of them, I suppose they’d do, but that depends on how much you’re willing to pay for something that’s purely decorative. I don’t think I can personally recommend them, but to each their own!
