Updated to add - after leaving the review below the company reached out and promptly sent me a replacement. I like the look of this adapter, and it worked fine for a while. That being said, less than a year later, one USB port doesn't work at all, and the other only sporadically. For example, when I plug my phone in to transfer large amounts of pictures, it'll work for a little while but then acts as if I'm repeatedly unplugging the phone and plugging in back in. (The phone and cable work fine without the adapter, so the issue isn't with either of them.) The charging port on the adapter still seems to work, and I haven't tried the SD port in a while, but since I mainly bought this for the USB adapter, it's a bummer they didn't last. ... show more

Rated because I have to take my laptop case off for the hub to snap on and work, which is a letdown. The color matches the laptop and it seems to work well, just having that extra requirement of pulling off my case to use it is a bummer that I was not expecting.

The media could not be loaded. I've used my NOV8Tech USB hub daily for the last 2 weeks and so far it's been great! I love that it has so many ports for the different things I need to charge. It has not caused any issues with the performance of my MacBook Air or any of the devices I plug in to charge. The color matches my gold laptop perfectly. I recently bought a 2019 Macbook Air and needed to transfer all my data and files from my external hardrive which has a USB connector. The 2019 Macbook Air does not have any USB ports so I needed an adapter made for the Macbook Air. I found this Nov8tech Adapter Docking Station on Amazon and bought it because it has 2 USB ports as well as several other types of ports for other connectors. It worked perfectly! This is an excellent product that does everything that is claimed in the product description! Works flawlessly with all my external hard drives that I used with a MacBook Pro (late 2012). The unit matches the finish (silver) of the MacBook Air perfectly and fits the C-connections on the left side of the MacBook Air so that the unit feels attached very securely. Well, this is the most useful computer accessory I've had in a long while. My old MacBook finally died, so I just bought a new M1 MacBook Pro - and frowned hard at the lack of ports on it. I bought a pricey cable from Apple that included one HDMI port, one USB port and one USB-C port, but that wasn't getting the job done for me. I was having to unplug my USB external keyboard to plug in my USB external hard drive to run Time Machine back-ups. With this simple, small little gizmo there's no more "either/or", now I can "and" as much as I need to. It has room to plug in my external monitor, keyboard, backup drive and printer (my printer's wireless interface is no longer working). The space grey shade is very, very close to the Mac's. And it cost just over half what Apple's less useful cable cost. Fingers crossed that it lasts a good long while. ... show more
