I bought this excavator for my 2.5 year old son and he loves it very much. He has long been dreaming of having such a "big" excavator drivable by himself and playing with it since all he had before were the small toy models of excavators and he had been tired of them. And now he has a "real excavator" and is able to ride all around our backyard. He is very proud of it and wouldn't stop playing on it for hours. The manufacture quality of this excavator is good, sturdy and durable. The design of the shape and color is almost perfect to simulate a real excavator and that was an important reason why a kid loves it so much. It is also easy to operate and control the excavator. When my son started to learn to drive it, he almost immediately caught it. He can easily step on the padel to drive and stop it by release his foot. Both forward and backward are not hard to learn. He had not got the chance to switch to the high speed, yet. But, I beleive when he gets familiar with the excavator he would love to speed it up. This excavator is also easy to assemble. The major components have already been enssembed before shipping to us. Most of my essemble work is to plug and connect the building blocks together. I spent about 40 minutes to finish the essembling. For a 2.5 year old, it could take efforts to learn how to operate the digger while driving it. But, that is why my son love it so much because he has more skill to learn and more fun to experience as he grows.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this as my 3 year old birthday gift and he absolutely loved it. my child could also control by himself by pressing a pedal using foot just like how we drive a car as adult. It is so much fun for my kid. The quality is great, very sturdy and not easy to get broken. I was able to assemble it all by myself, all tools were provided for the assembly. Battery life seems to be very long because we played it for several days now and still don’t need to charge it. Several mode, go back and forward and have two speed, fast and slow. So far my kid only dare to go forward and slow. Since it’s almost winter and very cold outside, we haven’t done test ride outside. Can’t wait to go outside until it gets warmer with my kid with this cool excavator. We have only been riding indoors so far but my kid was very excited to even play inside with it. I think the best use case of this is to take it to the park and he’ll soon make many many friends. Haha 😂 It’s such an amazing toy and my kid Absolutely loves it!

As a single-mom with marginal mechanical skills I was extremely nervous to have to assemble this. But I took my time and accomplished it. My 3 year old was so very happy and excited to see that Santa had brought it for him Christmas morning. Made the day. He uses it all the time. Seems to have a good battery life.

The bucket is manual and the resting spot for it is kind of confusing for a young one. Takes off super fast so can be a tad startling, but good for what we got it for. Just a bit flimsy and kind of cheap looking.

Did not work at all after assembled and charged. UPDATE: Despite the Excavator being completely dead out of the box - no forward or reverse (measured voltage from battery and it was fully charged), they, the manufacturer, decided to send me one (there are two wheel driver motors) wheel driver motor. Here are my issues: 1) First of all, you sent me an email offering me a full refund if I would upgrade my satisfaction score! Are you kidding me! I bought this based on your rating. How many others did you buy off 2) This is a two motor driven device, yet you only sent me one motor. It worked, but only in high speed switch position; low speed didn't work at all. 3) What I paid for was an out of box working Excavator; it was my grandson's birthday morning when I assembled it and it didn't work; the theme of the party was construction - thank you for spoiling the party 4) Your enclosed instruction were for a different model! Luckily, I am technical and it was easy to figure out how it should be assemble; 5) You sent one motor, not two as the Excavator requires. You expect me to do the labor to repair it. Ridiculous! This is the worse deal I have ever had from Amazon. I wish on follow up ratings you had a zero option!

The ride on excavator vehicle for kids and first and foremost when the order arrived I was pleasantly shocked on how large it was After opening and taking all the pieces out to get ready to assemble the vehicle all the parts were individually packaged and clean and the instructions that came with the order were both clear and straightforward. The actual process of putting together and assembling the construction vehicle was smooth and didn’t take too long at all, perhaps about 45 min later and the kids vehicle was all out together and ready to roll, it comes with a handy outlet plug in charger that has a light to indicate when it’s being charged and when it’s fully charged, now as for the actual product- first word that comes to mind is AWSOME, this is every kids dream toy especially seeing that it’s an excavator style vehicle, it has a workable shovel that is easily accessible to make use of and the mobility of the product is what most surprised me the vehicle comes with two modes slow and fast and the option to have the vehicle go in reverse is truly a nice feature

It's for my son's third birthday. My husband put it together quickly without any problems. It worked well and the battery lasted longer than I expected. My children seem to know how to get up and down easily. This is a great gift!!
