Overall, my experience with this table has been great. It feels very sturdy and is the perfect addition to the little nook in my office. I’ve built many many self-assembly pieces of furniture over the years, and it’s unusual for all of the pieces to fit together as snugly as they should (shelves are often too short, holes for cams not big enough, etc.). This desk was the first I’ve ever built where everything fit together like a dream. A few notes about assembly: 1. Everything you need to assemble this table is provided, EXCEPT for a flathead screwdriver. It’s recommended that you use one, but I managed fine just using a small coin. 2. It’s definitely possible to assemble this by yourself (that’s what I did), but I strongly encourage you to have a friend helping you out. There are times when having someone hold pieces while you screw them in would be very helpful. 3. The instructions do include words (in multiple languages!) in addition to the usual images, but there were a couple of times I had to really quadruple-check that I was orienting some of the pieces correctly, as it was not super clear in the instructions.

Contrary to the reviews we saw regarding the difficulty in assembling with misalignment of screw holes, etc., we found this to be a great addition to our new home. We bought two and though the assembly/instructions were not the best, we were able to get ours together with relative ease...keep in mind that we have done several of similar items in the past. However, once together, these fit perfectly in our space and were exactly what we were looking for.

I put this sideboard together yesterday and I like it very much. It looks great and is sturdy. I'm a 5ft tall female in my 40's and I put this together by myself. There were a few steps that would have been helpful to have the order in which to connect the pieces/hardware, so I did have to take a couple pieces back off and add something I didn't add in the right order but once I understood what I did wrong, the directions made sense. No problem removing bolts that I needed to in order to correct it. Highly recommend reading thru directions (pictures only) to make sure you understand the order of things before assembling. It will save you a little time. But even with having to back up, I had it together in 3 hrs. I would buy this again. (Also, 4 of the wooden pegs broke, but there were plenty of extras included. Be prepared to fish the broken pieces out of the holes that are drilled for them if this happens to you. I was able to get 3 of them out easily, but 1 I had to drill a spare screw into to have a handle by which to pull it out of the hole.) I've just unpacked all the parts and went thru it. It was packaged VERY well! I was impressed and I'm picky about packaging. All but 2 pieces were numbered and those were easy to distinguish. (The numbers are little stickers that are designed to easily come off, so the two missing are likely just stuck to the packaging somewhere.) All parts are included...nothing missing and there was ZERO damage. I didn't find one scratch. I will update once I have time to assemble it, although ease of assembly is quite subjective to the assembler. :)

BEAUTIFUL piece of furniture! It fits the space in my laundry room well. Packaging was great, everything came perfectly in tact, no defects. The installation took me 3 hours - pay attention because the label are on the sides of these pieces not the front or back. The instructions were a bit wonky - if you want to use your shelf, put it up before you put the cabinet doors in. I ended up not including the shelf as it would not have fit my detergents. Also, do step 10 first before you slide it in place...learned that the hard way and I couldn't secure it as I had already slid it in the corner. It is very heavy! However, it is not sturdy and rocks side to side. But again, it goes in the corners place of my laundry room so I didn't mind as much. All in all still 5 stars! I would give it 4.5 just for the wobbling but it might be because I had to skip step 10. They should've moved that step up as soon as you installed the back, before screwing on the top or the doors.

Only comment I'll make is at one point its a juggling act trying to get all the little wood studs in the proper holes and to get the bolts tightened at an even amount so the piece doesn't permanently lean to one side.

This was a little hard, you definitely need 2 people. Also 3 screws would not go into the holes, like the holes were too big. Finish product is nice. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the holes

Buying furniture online is risky as you never know what to expect. Research, place in cart, purchase and hope for the best. In this case, I got what I hoped for. All parts were damage free even with a beat up box. It’s heavy so I’m sure it got manhandled along it’s journey to my home from CA to the Midwest. Putting it together requires 2 people, a screwdriver, the provided Allen wrench, attention to detail and patience. The directions had to be studied even though they made perfect sense after figuring them out. These directions were much better than Ikea provides with their puzzles. All in all it took us about an hour and a half to get it all done. It is a great cabinet that I’m using for extra storage in my kitchen. It’s saving me counter space too as I made it into somewhat of a coffee bar. I don’t regret this purchase one bit. I love it!
