I got a costway portable air cooler july 23/2024 unfortunately it did not work. It showed a error code first time we plugged it in. We e-mailed costway with the issue with a short video. It cools ok, I’ve read a lot of reviews saying their cooler went out on it shortly after buying it, not the case with me. The thing fills with water after a few hours of use, also leaks water. Do not waste your money, it’s junk.

It's a great little unit we had no AC and over night it had cooled our living room kitchen hallway and back bedrooms, just 24 hours of run time. It's easy to use directions are clear you don't hear any noise from it I love the overall performance. The only drawback is that it looks to be made for vertical windows and we have smaller horizontal ones. The attachment that vents to the outside wouldn't fit properly so we had to cut it down to size. Took nothing away from the venting itself. ... show more
