These bar stools work nicely for our application with counter tops at 36”. The chairs were easy to assemble but we added blue locktite when attaching the seat pans to their mounts. The chairs are easy to adjust their height with a pull of a lever. The size of the seat pan is comfortable. Seat covers and comfort are good for the price point. The cushion in the seats are okay: Good enough for sitting during a meal, perhaps a bit thin on padding but again overall good for the price point. The seat coverings appear durable: The test of time will tell. Chrome is without flaw. I like the vinyl rings under the metal base of the chairs are appreciated to prevent marring of our floors secondary to moving the chairs. There is no direct metal to floor contact. really cant go wrong with these chairs! they are so cheap amd mine have lasted me 2 years so far and i use them everyday. the only sign of wear is the white glue trim starts to peel off. Wish there was some sort of product to reseal the trim so the chairs can look fresh. However for the price you really cant go wrong! ... show more

I read some of the reviews about the poor quality so I had some reservations, but ours came perfect so I was SOO happy. They also only took like 15 minutes to assemble for both and I LOVE them. The edges are warped a little where the piping ont he seat is from getting shoved into the box for packaging but I expect them to straighten out over time. It's hardly noticeable though. It didn't look as cheap as some people said. Definitely only has one plastic part which is the ring at the base that covers the connection between the base and the pole. Color of seats not as pictured. This was a repeat order. Originally ordered this pair of Costway bar stools 2-3 yrs ago which came with dark brown seats which was exactly what I had wanted. This repeat order for the same style Costway bar stools had a medium (reddish) brown color so they don't match the previous order with dark brown seats. Was disappointed the color that I received didn't match the pictured product online. Was deceiving. Decided to keep the order as I needed more of the same style bar stools for my kitchen island. They're easy to assemble. They are sturdy, work well & serve their purpose. These bar stools are stylish & pretty comfy. I do like the updated lever for adjusting the seat height. It's all chrome steel giving it a sleeker look. Good quality stools for the price, which has increased somewhat since I bought the first pair few years ago. I just wished they were dark brown so they're all matching. Need to update advertised old pictures of stools on the website showing as dark brown to the current medium (reddish) brown. ... show more
