Description

The Trending Tropicals Collection: Elevate your home decor with exceptional new varieties representing some of the hottest houseplant varieties on social media. Aglaonema features broad leaves with splashes of color throughout. This plant is great for small spaces and tabletop. It does well in most environments. Place Aglaonema in a spot that receives medium light (3-5 hours of sunlight), ideally near an East window. This plant prefers indirect sunlight. Direct sunlight may burn the plant. Water when the top 2 inches of the soil are dry (about once every 7 to 10 days) and be sure all excess water drains away. If the container does not have holes, use approximately 1 cup (6in) of water, adjust as needed for your environment. Do not let the Aglaonema sit in water or overly soggy soil. The height at shipping is approximately 15 inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. The Aglaonema ships in a white, 6-inch diameter composite material planter. To avoid water spillage, this container does not have holes. The Aglaonema is a moderate grower. Exact growth rate depends on the care provided and its environment. Give it a boost during the warm months of Spring and Summer with a general-purpose fertilizer that is formulated for house plants. Follow the instructions on the fertilizer package for the best use. When the plant out grows the current container, it is time to repot. To repot the plant, gently remove it from its current container and place it into a slightly larger container. I am SO happy with this purchase! I The Pink Princess was one of my wish list plants, so I got it for myself for my birthday. It arrived a few days sooner than expected. It was thoughtfully packaged; paper filled all the open space in the box, and a heat pad was saran wrapped around the pot. There was one broken leaf (10 o'clock position in the photo) and a minimal amount of dirt spilled inside the box, but what do you expect when shipping a live potted plant?? The plant itself arrived in great condition. The roots were well-developed and healthy, as was the gorgeous foliage. I gave it a little water, trimmed the broken leaf, and put it with some friends. 2 weeks later now, and she's thriving! The new leaf pictured finished unfurling, and there's another new one ready to come out any day now. This was my first plant ordered for delivery, and my expectations were exceeded. ... show more

I am more than impressed with the plant that I received. It was in excellent shape, well packaged, healthy, and well worth the money paid. It was much larger than I was expecting. A week after it was received, it hasn't lost any leaves, the colors are still vibrant, and no pests. Plant collectors, who payed top dollar for their pink princess plants, were not only impressed by this plant, but wanted a cutting of this one once it gets larger, as many of theirs aren't producing the amazing color and intensity this one is. ... show more

Arrived in great condition. Pot was plastic wrapped to prevent dirt from falling out of the pot during transit. Box was perfect sized, pot was packaged well to prevent shifting. Pot is decent quality and attractive, plastic nursery pot with drainage inside heavier plastic display pot without drainage. Plant is beautiful, growing well. A couple larger old growth stalks were chopped down short to fit for shipping, but overall do not make the plant look bad. Soil is a good type for this plant, did not need to repot immediately unlike plants purchased from big box stores. It has put up two new stalks since arrival, the fresh new neon lime green growth was a little startling at first compared to the almost jet black older growth. They are starting to darken up nicely. The raven zz arrived looking happy with only a few blemishes, one leaf looks ripped/eaten, one leaf has a hole in the middle. Also a couple of small stems weren't rooted when I did the tug test and came right up out of the soil, and one of them was rotted. I put the one that wasn't rotted in water to try to propagate some roots. Overall, it appears to be a healthy and strongly rooted plant. It's really beautiful! It is also bigger than I expected. I anticipate it will do well. The cover pot, however, looks like they pulled it out of the garbage can and shipped it. It's cracked in a large U shape and has paint gobs on the bottom and inside of the pot. While the packaging for the plant itself inside of the nursery pot was done well, the cover pot is shoved in the bottom of the box with no protection. It is also so snug in there it's hard to pull the cover pot out of the box. My guess is that's the reason for the cracked pot, it really needs a wider box and some cushioning. Four and a half stars for the plant, zero for the cover pot. Edited: The company replaced the damaged pot free of charge, however, they sent me a new pot that is too small. ... show more

I’ve been holding off on buying a PPP from Amazon, mostly because I figured I would find one locally in better condition than what I imagined a plant would look like coming off a UPS truck. I finally found one at a local nursery, but they were pretty small and had low variegation. I gave in and decided to gamble with Amazon. I was 100% expecting to open the box to a mess, but I’m so happy with what I received! My plant came well-packaged, and in great shape. The packaging was sufficient, and none of the soil was spoiled out into the box. There were no broken leaves from shipping (the few broken off ones in the pic must’ve been before shipping, as there were no broken bits in the box). The foliage is so thick, and there are so many beautiful colorations on the leaves. I can’t tell if the half-moons or the speckled leaves are my favorite. The moisture level of the soil was perfect. I’m used to getting Costa Farms plants from Walmart and they’re either drowning or very dried out, so I was pleasantly surprised. It also came with the decorative pot, which is a nice option to have. Personally, I will leave my plant just in the nursery pot, but I will definitely use the pretty one for one of my other plants. Update… I ordered another PPP during the Black Friday Sale. Again, shipping took only 2 days, was package amazingly with a heater pack, and I only had to cut off one leaf. This time around I GOT ONE WITH AMAZING VARIEGATION! (See 3rd pic). First of all, shipping was awesome. It came with a heater pack to keep it warm in this small cold snap we’re having and arrived in 2 days. The plant is in great shape. Very healthy. I only had to trim 2 small leaves upon opening. I am just a tad disappointed. I ordered the plant from here based on the variegation quality that other customers were posting in their reviews very recently. High variegation and stunning plants! Mine, not so much. Yes, it is a PPP. Yes, it’s very healthy with no pests. Yes, I know to give it bright light in hopes to ramp up the variegation. Yes, I know I set my expectations a little too high. BUT… lord have mercy have you seen some of the other PPP that CAN come from here!?! Amazing. I might have to try my luck again and order another.
