Water it about once a week with approximately 2-3 cups. Ensure excess water drains. Adjust as needed for your environment. Never let Majesty Palm Tree sit in water or saturated soil. When delivered, it’s about 3-4 feet tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. Majesty Palm Tree arrives in a 10-inch décor pot. To avoid water spillage, this container does not have holes. Majesty Palm Tree is generally a slow grower, depending on environment and care provided. Boost growth in spring and summer with a fertilizer labeled for potted plants following the product’s instructions. When Majesty Palm Tree outgrows its current container, repot by gently removing it from its container and placing it in a 2-inch wider container. Fill with potting mix and water thoroughly. I was amazed at how well this was packaged, in great shape. I will definitely buy from here again. Its thriving!!! Looks great! Only disappointment was with Amazon. It arrived a couple days early and they delivered late at night and we didn't realize. It was -10 that night. lost a couple of branches, but it recovered quickly. Update: costa farms issued a brand new plant and shipped it immediately after they returned my inquiry, no questions asked. I discarded the larvae infested plant. The one I have currently has had no issues so far. I plan to update this if Costa Farms decides to respond to my inquiry with them however, it was submitted and they have had enough time to send a response and have not yet. I received a majesty palm at the beginning of August, the plant had two main growths. The soil stayed moist throughout for the past few weeks of me checking. The top soil dried out about a week ago and I lightly watered it, not enough to saturate though because my house is over 60% humidity and it wasn't baking in sunlight. I had it in a north facing window temporarily. I woke up about a week and a half ago and the smaller palm of the plant collapsed and the bulb structure was rotten, two days ago the rest of the plant collapsed with a rotten structure. The plant pot is dropping millipedes both mature and young, the entire soil is infested with them as is the root and bulb structure of the plant which explains why it rotted so quickly. This is a first for me, I've purchased Costa Farms plants in the past and I have never experienced worms/millipedes or infestations of any kind within the first 30 days of having a plant. This is really odd and super gross. I cannot make the plant come back from this, the whole thing is completely rotted out. I was considerably worried about the rare plants that I already own also becoming infested and I've had to now quarantine them to be sure that they don't end up rotting and the substrate they are planted in will need to be replaced. All of my non rare plants will also need to be repotted with new soil since I can't take any chances. I'm hoping I'll be able to update this and change my rating when they finally respond to make this right. I'm all for natural pest control but millipedes upon research sound like they have far more negative effects on the soil than benefits considering they feed on organic matter. My Cat Palm was packaged well. The plant is full, healthy and beautiful. It exceeds my expectations. Update. While my cat palm arrived in a beautiful state, within a day the fonds started failing. Some of them bent in half, some got crispy. I think they were experienced cold during shipping. While the pot was well packaged and a heat bag was attached, the foliage had little to no protection. Plus the box had 2 hand carrying holes that were 1.5”x 4” big, allowing outside air to enter the box, and expose the fonds to cold. I’m still hoping the palm will survive as a few of the fonds are okay. I should have known better than to buy a plant online in January. ... show more

I’ve bought at least over nine different large plants from this company and they’re very accurate not only with the description but once you get the item in. I never bought one straight out of the box with its own vase.. They basically give you the plant inside of a growing Nursery pot, and then added inside a bigger, fancier decorative pot. Straight out of the box. It’s ready to be put out. The packaging is very careful, and the bottom of the dirt becomes sealed in a rapper. The decorative pot is strong and sturdy, but it doesn’t have drainage holes so eventually after about two years, maybe three years it will outgrow its nursery. You can water the plant and it’ll slowly drain into the decorative pot, but I simply just take it out, water it outdoors to drains slightly from the hole let it dry a little bit and then put it back. This is the easier surefire way so that way the external pot doesn’t hold the water. Beyond that I don’t have anything else to say. The plant is very healthy.
