Description

Everlasting ZZ is great for tabletops and brings a striking architectural presence to any indoor space. It thrives in environments with medium, indirect light, making it perfect for spots that receive 3–5 hours of sunlight daily. Water your plant about once every 2 weeks with approximately 1 cup of water, ensuring that all excess water drains away, and adjust as needed for your specific environment. Do not let the Everlasting ZZ sit in water or overly soggy soil. The height at shipping is approximately 10 inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. The Everlasting ZZ arrives in a white, 6-inch composite planter designed without drainage holes to prevent water spillage in your home or office. This live houseplant is a slow grower, with its exact growth rate depending on its environment and the care provided. Give it a boost during the warm months of spring and summer with a general-purpose fertilizer formulated for potted plants, following the package instructions for best results. When the plant eventually outgrows its current container, it is time to repot. To repot your Everlasting ZZ, gently remove it from its current container and place it into a slightly larger pot. Fill in any empty spaces with fresh soil and water thoroughly. This plant is considered hardy in USDA Zones 9–11.Plants are living things; each one is unique, so the plant you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Our growers hand-pick the healthiest, highest-quality plants and package them with great care so they arrive at your home ready to be displayed. • Title: Beautiful, healthy plant and thoughtful packaging
Style: Everlasting ZZ Size: 10-12 Inches Tall Color: Indoor Décor Plant Pot
Review Image by Leo V
I’m really happy with my plant! It arrived looking healthy, full, and beautiful, with rich dark green leaves. I also appreciated the thoughtful care card included with the plant. It made the unboxing feel personal and gave clear, simple tips for helping the plant settle in after shipping. The pot is clean and modern. It feels like a high-quality plant that was packaged with care. I’m excited to watch it grow and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a low-maintenance, stylish indoor plant. ... show more

    • Beautiful Plant - Easy to grow
Style: Everlasting ZZ Size: 10-12 Inches Tall Color: Indoor Décor Plant Pot
I picked up this exact same Costa Farms plant at HD....Ended up absolutely falling in love with it and went back to buy a few more....Unfortunately there were no more. Luckily (thank you Amazon) I found them here. Costa Farms plants are VERY well packaged. The soil is secured with a plastic film (like the kitchen wrap stuff) around the grower pot before being placed into the decorative cache pot. The decorative pot is then secured with a cardboard wrap to further secure the pot, soil and keep the base of the plant from shifting. Then, it is placed into a cardboard insert that secures the pot in place preventing it from moving. All that is put into the shipping box that is made of a nice sturdy cardboard. Now let's get to shipping---More specifically, how it is handled when it is shipped- ay, there's the rub! This is where it is a crap shoot. Will they treat my plant with aloha or not? I think it depends on who happens to be working the day your plant goes through their hands. There are the people that take pride in what they do-even though you will never see their hard work behind the scenes...they see the clear markings on the box and they know it is precious cargo for someone. And then, there is always that one turd that sees that it is a plant and get personal satisfaction from doing everything they can to destroy the contents. Case in point, I ordered one plant one day and then two more about two days later. The first plant arrived. Box appeared intact, but you could see soil sticking to the box tape-you could hear the disheartening sound of broken ceramic pieces inside. Opened the box and the plant looked like it had been dropped in a blender. THIS does not happen with ordinary handling. Upon closer inspection, you could see some dents in the corner on the bottom of the box...it looks like the box was probably dropped straight down so the flat side would hit the ground...it must have been done a few times...because the cache pot bottom looks like it was forced up into the plant and broke-the top of the cache pot basically switched placed with the bottom by breaking in half. ********************Now the second delivery of two plants in two separate boxes. (Key up the peaceful instrumental music here.) Perfect. Not a bit of soil out of place. Every. Single. Individual. Stalk. Was. Perfect. It was like I went to the store and picked it out myself. This plant is beautiful. Costa Farms is an excellent company. There is a chance that your plant will be handled roughly. Now it's your turn to decide to roll the dice. In the meantime, I am going to order a couple more. ... show more

    • Healthy, Arrived quickly
Style: Everlasting ZZ Size: 10-12 Inches Tall Color: Indoor Décor Plant Pot
I lost all 3 of my ZZ plants to a surprise late frost. This one really broke my heart since it had sentimental value as the unusual plant was a gift. I was pleased to find a small one from this grower. It arrived quickly and well protected. The box contained the plant, directions and a self-watering pot. I waited to review to judge thebplant. It has remained healthy and has tripled in size in just 6 months. I wasn't sure about using a self watering pot because it's so easy to kill this plant by overwatering. This plant isn't struggling in any way. I would recommend this grower. A little expensive but they specialize in unusual plants so it's worth it. ... show more

    • Much smaller than advertised & arrived damaged
Style: Everlasting ZZ Size: 10-12 Inches Tall Color: Indoor Décor Plant Pot
Review Image by M
The main issue is the size. The description states 12–18 inches, but the plant I received is barely 8 inches (20-21 cm) tall. It is a tiny baby plant that only fills up about half the volume of the pot it came in. Amazon customer service was great and issued a full refund immediately, but the item itself does not match the description at all. If you are expecting a 12–18 inch plant, be prepared to receive something much smaller. The box arrived badly damaged and torn in the middle. Because of this, several stems and leaves were completely broken. On top of that, I had to spend time cleaning every single leaf. P.S. changing to 1 star. Despite my efforts it was too rotten in that wet substrate and finally died, RIP ZZ ... show more

*This review is for the raven/black ZZ plant. Not the normal/green.* I was very impressed with this plant and the packaging. I was expecting a plant that was 12 inches tall from the table up (so including the pot), but I actually got a plant that is 12 inches tall on its own above the pot. It has 2 large stalks, 3 medium stalks, and several baby stalks, so I know it’s going to be very lush. Everything arrived a bit chilly, but it doesn’t appear to have any damage. I do feel it was overwatered prior to shipping considering it’s winter (cold and wet is a bad combo for tropicals), but I expect the plant will be fine. I’ll make sure to let it dry out. Also, the packaging was so secure! Not a single leaf was broken, the pot was in perfect shape, and only a sprinkle of dirt had escaped the pot. This would definitely be a great gift plant to order for someone bc it looked amazing right out of the box. When I ordered I felt it was a little over priced, but it is bigger than I expected, it comes with a ceramic pot, and the packaging/shipping was top notch. Also, it’s the same price in the box store as on Amazon. I ordered Thursday, and it was here Saturday. ... show more

Wanted to share my experience with this plant for reference of future buyers & to see if mine was a fluke! Most of my plants are from Costa farms (I have a LOT) and have not had any issues prior to this. However, upon arrival of this Raven ZZ - I had my first experience of what I discovered to be Thrips. They are so tiny it is almost impossible to tell they are there until they start moving or bite, but I found several on the outside of the pot and on my arms from picking it up. It was difficult to get a picture but I was able to isolate one and zoom in so you can see in the last pic I posted. Since I have many other plants that I’ve invested a lot of time and money into, I had to take immediate action to prevent them from spreading so I repotting the plant from the nursery pot to the white ceramic pot (after drilling a drainage hole). The plant itself is gorgeous and did not appear to have visible insect damage and had pretty much outgrown the pot it came with. The plant I received can be separated into a few pots which is great. The coloring on the leaves and height was perfect and appears to be healthy. The first picture I posted is immediately after taking it out of the box, the second picture Is after re-potting from nursery pot into the pot provided, and the 3rd is the bottom of the roots. I was not overly concerned about them being root bound, as plants usually recover fairly quickly after repot. Overall, it was a fair price and good quality plant but I would advise buyers to use their own judgment & open the box outdoors away from other plants just to be safe. ... show more

Style: Everlasting ZZ Size: 10-12 Inches Tall Color: Indoor Décor Plant Pot
Review Image by Patty
Package arrived in great condition after the shipping agent took it on a crazy journey LOL. Minimal dirt spillage, plant is in excellent condition. Larger than I thought, looks very healthy. The plastic pot is intact, though I've never used that simple self-watering system before. I decided not to do the self-watering system as everything I'm reading on Raven ZZ says the soil should dry out between waterings. I don't think this self-watering pot will let that happen. Even the Costa Farms site says the soil should dry out between watering....so guess I don't understand why the self- watering pot. Maybe when it's time to water, I can use it and bottom water? ... show more
