Enjoy the beauty of Anthurium, which features solid, green foliage and is fantastic for small spaces. Grow Anthurium in bright, indirect sunlight. Water it about once a week with approximately 1/2 cup. Ensure excess water drains. Adjust as needed for your environment. Never let Anthurium sit in water or saturated soil. It’s about 12-inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. Anthurium in a white, 4-inch décor pot. To avoid water spillage, this container does not have holes.Anthurium is generally a slow grower, depending on environment and care provided. Boost growth in spring and summer with a fertilizer labeled for potted plants following the product’s instructions. When Anthurium outgrows its current container, repot by gently removing it from its container and placing it in a 2-inch wider container. Fill with potting mix and water thoroughly. Hardy outdoors in USDA Zones 10-12. Exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. Anthurium arrived torn up with the red leaf/petal parts bent and scarred all over, and now a week later it is almost 100% brown all over. I also bought a Boston Fern from Costa Farms and it arrived with shriveled fronds and disgusting root rot-- it's making my whole house smell like low tide. But you can't return through Amazon and Costa Farms customer service is impossible to get ahold of. You call them, they tell you to use the website. If you use the website, your inquiry form submits and you get a blank page with no confirmation email. If you call them, they transfer you, then you get lost in a broken phone tree. I think Costa Farms business model is making you give up and throw the plant away and just eat the $ you paid for it. Meanwhile, I got a silver pothos from another Amazon store called Plants for Pets and it arrived in beautiful condition. So I know it is possible for an Amazon store that actually cares to deliver a plant alive. Costa Farms just doesn't care. ... show more
