Enjoy the beauty of Aloe Vera, which features variegted, green foliage and is fantastic for small spaces. Grow Aloe Vera in bright, direct sunlight. Water it about once every 2 weeks with approximately 1/2 cup. Ensure excess water drains. Adjust as needed for your environment. Never let Aloe Vera sit in water or saturated soil. Each Aloe Vera plant is about 7-inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. Aloe Vera is potted in a 4-inch plant pot. To avoid water spillage, this container does not have holes.Aloe Vera is generally a moderate grower, depending on environment and care provided. Boost growth in spring and summer with a fertilizer labeled for potted plants following the product’s instructions. When Aloe Vera outgrows its current container, repot by gently removing it from its container and placing it in a 2-inch wider container. Fill with potting mix and water thoroughly. Hardy outdoors in USDA Zones 8-11.Exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. Grown for ornamental purposes and not intended for human or animal consumption.

When I made this order I didn’t think it completely through after and then after I purchased I realized I had just ordered this plant and it is a AZ summer and 100* outside! But I had already ordered it and I was down for the adventure. My expectations were to find a wilted dead plant and then I was going to have to figure out how to return it. When it finally arrived at my house to my surprise it was PERFECT!! I was impressed when I opened the box I realized how well the soil plant was packaged so that the aloe Vera remained and stayed contained in its pot. The aloe was still plump and the soil was moist. The plant was physically hot so immediately I took it out of the box and pot so it could cool down. I slightly watered it and I put it in my window for about a week so the plant to rest and recover and also get semi acclimated to its new environment. About a week later I did a complete soil change. It was in the wrong type of soil anyways and I really like doing this with my new plants because it allows me to assess where they are and address issues if needed. One huge Con as I gently rinsed the soil off the roots I saw that at the base of the plant the roots had been wrapped with gauze. I picked out as much as I could because the gauze can hinder growth. I also found some yellow from over watering and it being in the wrong type of soil. They also sent me the wrong pot. I was bummed but Amazon Customer service is Amazing so I wasn’t really sweating that too much they helped me out. But over all this is a quality plant and I am excited to see it grow. It’s already grown 2 new leaves and is just beautiful. I would definitely order with them again no question! ... show more

Was a bit skeptical about ordering a plant on line, secondary to reviews that indicated theirs didn’t travel well. Box was really beaten up (Christmas season) but the plant was perfect and very healthy.
