My wife didn’t want another appliance on the counter. She eventually agreed the large built-in convection oven used a lot of energy and took a lot of time to heat up. I told her that this multi-function air fryer was a great size. We received it and placed it where the toaster had been. We have been trying different recipes in the Cosori cookbook provided. Pre-heating is optional but it is so quick, it’s no big deal and allows the trays to get hot also. When it beeps, we open door and use long tongs to place food on trays. I find if you use air fryer tray (versus food tray which is solid), you should place solid food tray either under it on same level or at another level below. That way drippings go onto lower tray which is super easy to clean. If the food looks cooked before default time, just use up/down arrows to right to modify. Read instructions if you want to change a default time or temp for future cooking. Frankly, the toast function was better than are previous toaster and was evenly toasted across the bread/bagel. The steak recipe (Perfect Steak) was easy and tasty. 10 minutes and my 1” thick steaks were done. Of course, let steak rest for 5 minutes before serving. Contrary to some comments by others, the way we use bottom food tray, we have not had issue with tray at base getting burnt looking. After meal, I clean everything and all look brand new. Cleaning is so easy. Haven’t used rotisserie or dehydrate yet but should not be a problem. All easy to use and adjust for all cooking methods. So glad we finally are cooking healthier, faster, and with less energy being used…versus monster oven. ... show more

I bought this air fryer for myself and then bought one for my 80+yo mom. This is the EASIEST air fryer I have ever used! It really is 'idiot-proof'!!! And I love it! It will roast, toast, warm, bake, and fry!!! The controls are easy! The temp and time adjustment are easy! The racks are easy to clean! This little air fryer is a beast! My mom and I both use it on a daily basis! It does, sometimes, take some creativity, as it wants to occasionally 'overpreform' (like with a pot pie... the top will burn if you're not creative!), but as far as even broiling the top of a Crem Brule', it is PERFECT!!! It slides easily under my kitchen cabinets, and aside from the glass in the door, is still touchable all the way around! I've used it daily since I got the first one in November, so I will take it's durable! When this breaks (which I expect to be a while), I'll order another just like it!!! I've shown all my friends how easy it is to operate and I encouraged them to purchase one like it! This little oven is the BOMB!!!! ... show more

I HIGHLY recommend this unit, it has become a total game changer for me. I only have to cook for 2 now, so for us it is awesome. When my toaster oven died, I searched for a replacement. I had no idea that an 11-1 air fryer oven like this was even possible. It does it all, taking the place of several other products and is quite compact, less space than my old toaster oven, and it includes all the attachments and trays. Air fryer (with a round rotating mesh basket attachment for even cooking), bake, roast, broil, toast, dehydrate, pizza, reheat, proof dough, rotisserie (with attachment). There is a small learning curve to operating the unit, but I am older and technologically challenged. I AM IN LOVE WITH THE ROTISSERIE function and that is what initially drew me to this particular unit, the spindle type attachment. Took me a few minutes the first time I used it realize there is a button to push for rotisserie cooking to make it turn. My only complaint is that the rotisserie attachment is a bit hard to work with when loading a chicken on it, is a bit awkward to get inserted in the oven. Also, I am struggling to learn how to truss up the hen. The manual states that the chicken has to be less than 4 pounds, follow that direction in order to get a chicken that will turn properly, which is a bit difficult to find in my community, but my local grocery store meat department worker was awesome helping me find some. I have used it twice to make rotisserie chicken, found copy cat recipe for Costco Rotisserie Chicken online and printed it off. The second time I found "Beer Butt Chicken Seasoning" that tasted so good. I will make this often. It toasted slices of bread well too. It directs you to use only 2 slices, but depending on the type of bread, you might can get more. It is not dishwasher recommended for the attachments and trays, but trust me, it cleaned like dream. I really enjoy using this air fryer oven. Inside the box, it comes with a cookbook, an instruction manual, a splatter guard, a black sheet tray, a fryer basket, a wire rack, and a standing rack.
