I've had this air fryer for about a month now, after resisting the trend, then fretting over reviews, etc. I am VERY happy with my purchase! I've cooked chicken, veggies, made toast, grilled cheese sandwiches, reheated pizza, etc. It's been an absolute champ. Any mess is cleaned up in a few seconds - nothing sticks. No weird odor when I first used it. Quiet! The programming screen is bright when it lights up, intuitive and easy. The 5 Qt capacity is generous for just me and my husband but I really would not want any less capacity. I could fit a small whole chicken in it. And for the price, it's fantastic! I am using my gas oven way less, meals are quicker and of course, less oil is a good thing. I may update my review after a few months just to comment on reliability, or any issues, but I'm hoping there are none. LOVE it. ... show more

This is my 4th air frier. It is by far the best air frier I have ever had. The grate in the basket really helps the food get crispy. Sure you still have to shake it like you do every air frier. But it super easy to do and I don’t need additional tools. It is easy to store away in a cabinet. It is relatively easy to clean. I say relatively because the bottom side of the grate in the basket gets a lot of grease in the nooks and crannies. The only thing I not a fan of is the temperature controls. I had been reading about air fryers for years, but just recently, I decided to buy one. The first one I bought had to be returned because when I did a test run, the odor was so strong that it lingered for days, and it set our fire alarm off. So, I decided to try this one, and bought the five quart because there's only two of us, and I wasn't going to cook that much in it. Because I wasn't sure about using an air fryer, I bought a used one from the Amazon Warehouse. That way, I wouldn't feel like I had wasted a lot of money if it didn't get used. When we did a test run with this one, there was very little odor, which was a relief. Also, the controls are very easy to use, and I like the fact that the basket is dishwasher safe. We haven't used it a lot, yet, but we did do the following: 1. Bacon--Turned out just right. 2. Frozen onion rings--Came out nice a crispy. 3. Frozen French fries--Cooked in no time, and turned out great, even without shaking. 4. French fries warmed up--Did a great job. 5. Poached eggs--Total failure. Tried three different times at different temps, and never got them to turn out right. I kind of wish we had gotten at least the six quart, because the five quart doesn't hold much at all. It held about five onion rings, so we had to cook twice in order to get enough for both of us. However, we're going to stick with this until we're able to get a combo toaster/convection/air fryer oven where we'll have more room to play with. Other than it being kind of small, this air fryer meets our needs at present, and I'm looking forward to experimenting with more things, such as baking some cookies, and cooking hamburgers.     • Easy to use but should have more features - COSORI Air Fryer Pro LE

The COSORI Air Fryer Pro LE is a great air fryer. It gets up to the pre-heat temperature quickly and does a good job cooking evenly. This was our first air fryer and we have been using is almost daily if not more than once per day. Beyond the obvious like french fries and chicken nuggets, we've used it to make pizza, garlic bread, cook brats, veggies, and more. We also use it to toast bagels and warm up donuts. Everything is delicious, but it does take some learning to get good at estimating the correct time and temperature. The fryer basket with the crisping grid inserted is approx 3 5/8" deep (to the top of the basket) by 8 1/2 wide. It has a non-stick coating which so far has been easy to clean. We've been careful to not use any metal utensils to avoid scratching the coating. The touchpad is very responsive and can either be tapped or long pressed when changing temperature and time. The pause button is nice to check how items are cooking. Some quibbles: There are no user presets, so every time it's turned on it resets to the default time/temp. We don't really use the included preset modes much - chicken, frozen, steak, etc - as they all tend to overcook the food in our experience. Having those to be user configurable would be nice. The preheat mode can be set for desired temperature but then shuts off when it's reached - requiring the temperature to be set again for cooking. Also, it would be nice if there was a way to control the beeping volume and even disable the beeps when using the touchpad - everything makes it beep which gets minorly annoying. Finally, when the fry basket is pulled out, the touchpad is disabled (which makes sense) however I've learned I have to wait until it beeps and the power light comes on again after the basket is inserted before trying to use the touchpad. Pressing for example the power button immediately after inserting can sometime cause the touchpad to lock up requiring the unit to be unplugged to reset it. Overall this a nice air fryer with an easy to clean finish including the glass touchpad on the top. Considering the quibbles, if I were to go back in time knowing what I know now I would likely look for one with more user configurability. However we are very happy with the Cosori Pro LE and have no plans to replace it. ... show more
