As a professional chef, I’ve always prided myself on my skills in the kitchen—except when it comes to rice. Even though most chefs find rice preparation second nature, it’s often the one thing I screw up the most. Whether it’s getting the right texture or managing the timing, rice has always been a tricky spot for me. For years, I avoided getting a rice cooker, thinking it would be a bit of a cheat or that I should be able to do it the old-fashioned way. But after too many failed rice attempts, I finally broke through the shame and decided to give a rice cooker a shot. The fuzzy logic feature is what sold me. It takes all the guesswork out of rice preparation, automatically adjusting the cooking process based on the type of rice I’m making. It’s foolproof. I simply add the rice and water, hit the right setting, and walk away. I pick how firm I want the fire to be, & The rice comes out perfectly cooked every single time—fluffy, tender, and without any of the common rice pitfalls I used to deal with. It’s a relief to know I’m finally making consistently great rice without the constant monitoring. One of my favorite features is the keep-warm function, which keeps the rice at the perfect temperature for up to 24 hours. No more worrying about reheating or having to rush to eat. 1 month update I have used this probably 15 times and still works perfectly. I can not recommend it enough! This rice cooker is surprisingly larger than it appears, but it looks great on the counter! It consistently produces perfect white and brown rice, though it does take about 50 minutes to cook, so plan accordingly. Cleanup is a breeze since the pot is dishwasher safe, although it's easy enough to hand clean too. Plus, the top of the lid is removable for even easier cleaning! Another thing I love about the pot is that it has liquid measurement lines for a variety of different grains, not just rice. It also comes with a handy measuring cup and steaming basket, which is a great bonus! The included recipe book and cooking instructions are very helpful, with tips for cooking different types of rice and other foods. And I have to say, the included rice scraper is the best I've ever used! I love how versatile it is! Overall, I highly recommend this rice cooker.

So far so good! This unit has a lot of nice features. I made some calrose rice in it (kind of like sticky sushi rice) and it came out great! I followed the directions in the booklet that came with it, though I double checked online to make sure that the ratio was correct, (1.5 c water per 1 c rice) and had no problems. It also comes with a recipe booklet though I've not used it yet. I bought some black japonica and wild rices as well, looking forward to trying them! This unit is a great size, not too big or small. It comes with a metal steaming basket, a standing paddle and a measuring cup. It easily makes enough rice for a family, and the pop up button on the lid to open it is a nice feature. Btw, Their cup is NOT the same as an 8 oz cup (slightly smaller, somewhere around 6.5 ounces I'd guess) so be sure to measure everything using their cup! It was very easy to use and clean, I'm happy with it!
