Microwave has a nice look and seemed like a good deal (still expensive, but compared to other drawer microwaves). Only feature it was missing was some sort of "lock" to keep kids out. My problems were present from the first day - it made a clunking sound when it opened and closed. It didn't bother me much so I decided to just get used to it. 9 months after installing it, it started sparking inside and now can't be used at all. My initial communication with Cosmo support over chat was quick. Once we switched from chat to email I would get responses every 2-4 business days. They did a little troubleshooting over email, and then I was sent a invoice for $150 for shipping labels to send to their repair facility. I had some questions about packaging, what I could have done differently, if there was anything I could fix on my end but none of them were answered. At this point, they're not responding to me at all. I understand now that the warranty doesn't include return shipping, but for a $1000 microwave I would expect some better quality control. I've never had a microwave just break on me, and don't feel like I should have to spend $150 + whatever it costs to package the thing for them to fix something that will probably break again in 9 months. Pick a microwave that at least has a decent warranty Update: I bit the bullet and paid for the shipping label. It took just under a month from when FedEx picked to when the delivery company delivered it - most of this time was the delivery company. They sent me a different microwave, which was good because it is much quieter when opening and closing. The refurb microwave works well. I'll update if it breaks again. In my original review I also said it didn't have a child lock feature. That was incorrect - it does - but it's not very useful. It turns off the open/close buttons but if you lightly pull/push on the handle it will continue to open/close just like in normal operation. ... show more

We really love the style of this drawer microwave. It works great, has great power and quiet. We’ve only had it a few months and already the buttons are bubbling and feel extremely cheap and poor quality. For the price, you’d think this wouldn’t happen. No, we don’t use our fingernails to press the buttons, we’re very careful about that. We are very disappointed in this product. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a nice microwave for the price. It does help to have two people to install. Also, make sure you have your measurements correct with double double check and the correct trim kit to cover any gaps. I was totally happy with my microwave but noticed after a little over a year that it was sparkling in the back corner by one of the wheels. I noticed it’s arcing in that corner. I keep it clean all the time so I’m trying to reach customer service and even though I don’t know what they’re going to tell me, I still think it’s too soon for this thing to be giving me problems. Buy a product that fixes your problems in the kitchen not something that will create more problems. :-( ... show more

Defective open/close sensor. The microwave will repeatedly open because it can't sense when it has closed. Must be pushed closed by hand. It also sometimes will not run the microwave, even though the cook timer is counting down. A nudge on the door will cause the sensor to finish latching and the cook will resume from however many seconds are still on the clock. We have not yet complained to Cosmo due to all the bad reviews from everyone who has complained. Might try to use the protection plan we bought instead, if they let us skip past Cosmo. ... show more
