I’m really happy with the U.S. Traveler Boren expandable hardside luggage. It has a sturdy feel and plenty of room for packing, with the expandable feature being especially useful when I need a little extra space. The rugged design gives it a nice, durable look while still being practical for travel. Overall, it’s a great suitcase for anyone looking for something spacious and dependable. ... show more

    • Had problems with inside zippers
Size: Checked-Medium 26-Inch, No USB Port Color: Navy
lightweight, easy packing and spinner wheels are great. Outside zippers worked well, inside zippers were incomplete. No tag on zipper that was sewn on the wrong side of fabric. Another inside zipper did not unzip all the way (only unzipped halfway ).

    • Winner in weight but not necessarily function
Size: Checked-Medium 26-Inch, No USB Port Color: Teal
I purchased several hardsided suit cases to see which weighted less because the one I had was a lot heavier than my softsided suitcase but I wanted the durability of the hard side. This was by far the lightest weight one; at a reasonable price, at only 8lbs. One of the others was 10lbs. When you look at the description, it says 7.8lbs but I weighted it two different ways and got 8lbs both times. (that's why I always double check). I love the space inside, very open on one side and the compression worked well on the other. With the color, I was able to easily see my suitcase on the conveyor belt. The 2 things that were disappointments were there wasn't a TSA lock attachment like the others had and it wasn't very easy to manuver. The wheels rolled fine straight but hit a bump or crack and I would almost have to drag it over the crack. Turning around corners also wasn't smooth. Most of the time, it would almost tip over and instead of pushing it, I would have to drag it by the handle around and even then, sometimes it would tip to the side and I just dragged it. I loved that it was light weight and open inside but that just isn't enough to out-weigh the downside of the wheels. ... show more

    • Don’t buy this suitcase
Size: Checked-Medium 26-Inch, No USB Port Color: Lavender

Would rate 0 stars if I could. The VERY FIRST time I used the medium sized checked bag I set it down on its wheels and two wheels completely cracked off and the zipper popped open. It was holding 37 lb, 13 less than the airport maximum weight for checked luggage. I was able to get the zipper back on track but the suitcase is unusable since the wheels are on the wrong side of the handle. Because I didn’t use it for the first time until several months after purchasing, I can’t return it, so I just wasted $100. I have the carry-on size too, which also has zipper problems, though the wheels are intact. ... show more
