  • I love this guitar
I watched a YouTube review on this guitar and I just had to try it out for myself. I have Taylor, Martin, and Gibson guitars and I place this right up there. Playability was almost perfect right out of the box. The unconventional sound hole really surprised me. Excellent guitar.

  • Apathetic?
Pay no attention to the one star review, though I try not to have expectations, I'm always let down. Mind you, Cor-Tek built my 2018 PRS SETonare 55e, a wonderful guitar that's been my main stay ever since (I play an average of around 64 shows per year)! My initial hope was, this is good, imagine what they'll make to represent themselves (of course they build guitars for many brands., PRS, Breedlove, Ovation, etc etc). How could it not be good, nay, great?! Alas, fate proved true, and sorely I was disappointed. This guitar didn't project, sounded dull, though it aesthetically looked pretty, played less than! I would not recommend the example that I had. ... show more

  • I love this guitar
I like the sound. It's very playable and the side ports are cool. More of the sound is aimed at the player but it still fills the room. I love the unique style too. The craftsman touches are nice in terms of workmanship.

  • A Total Winner!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love the look, sound, and playability of this guitar. The sound holes on the side are perfect for me practicing at home. When playing a gig or open mic night, it's stunning looks catch the attention of everyone. The guitar sounds great plugged in as well. Ignore the negative reviews. GET THIS GUITAR! ... show more

  • Quality control issues
UPDATE: Two months in, the bridge is separating from the body. Waiting to hear from Cort customer support. I think this thing is a finger picker's dream. Low action, wide fretboard, satin neck. It is stunning to look at. Small bodied and surprisingly light. I mostly play instrumental music, and I'm in love with this. ... show more

  • It doesn’t sound as good as you expect!
The media could not be loaded. The idea sounds appealing, I like the neck it’s smooth and fast even though the string spacing is larger than regular acoustics. But the sound volume is low, it doesn’t feel like a guitar to me, the feel is low. There’s no need to invent the wheel from scratch! But I appreciate the effort and it is a handsome guitar! I also didn’t Like the feel of the truss rod. It feels cheap and sturdy. My overall rating is 3.7 I rounded it up! ... show more

  • Not what I expected.
I didn't like the way it sounded! If I would have played it in a guitar store first, I wouldn't have bought it.
