I am retired and I am online 10 to sometimes 14 hours a day. (This, is Why you retire) Wow I am having fun. Playing with online friends from Canada to Australia. I have wanted to get - wireless for EVER and now I did. I will only go back - to corded - if the battery dies from too many hours. >>> EDIT 12 29 2020: Found a solution for the built-in battery pack, either losing capacity or you need longer runtimes. Short version. Get an 18650 single cell battery bank/charger (I have this one, but any will do.) Nitecore F1 FlexBank Micro-USB Smart Battery Charger for Li-ion/IMR with Battery Case. You want it to be both a battery bank and a charger. The replaceable 18650 is just a bonus. The smaller and lighter the better. Get a USB cord that matches the battery banks output with the headsets input - a USB A male to USB micro -12 inches works well. Attach the bank/charger to the headset on right ear cup, I used 2) 4mm wide rubber bands, hook and loop would work well too, going over the whole right ear cup and making a figure 8 over the bank/charger at each end and just plugged it into the charge port on the left side ear cup, strapping down the cord if need be. Now I have unlimited use, as the bank continuously charges the internal battery and is easy to replace or charge up overnight. With this setup I have never ran out of runtime (except after 3 days of forgetting to plug it in). Even then - I can just swap battery or the battery bank (if not replaceable like the F1). It also serves to minimize wear on the headsets' USB port as it remains plugged in. I have used this setup for about 8 months now and it remains an awesome update. It does add just a little weight, but I got used to it in about 1 day. <<< End of EDIT: I have been in an online game for over 12 hours each day for 2 days now. We needed a break (and that is why I can take the time to write about this.) but the VOID Pro never balked at this. I did get to 3% of battery life left and was a little concerned that - that was too much, that it may have damaged the battery pack. Nope, Plugged in (You really need at least a .5Ah charger to properly do this) I used my USB 2.0 port on my laptop - And I thought I was right, I messed it up… I did not. After talking with a friend with the same Void Pro model, She had the same results. USB port, not enough power - Good cell phone charger. Perfect. OK, enough with the battery. The sound is amazing - Playing a new AAA game - Thunder rolls in... I had to take off the headset to know whether it was our approaching local storm - or was it in the game? It was indeed, in-game. I was never more impressed with a headset (of any kind). Mind you I am an older guy - and not an audiophile - but GD, it literally made me duck and cringe my shoulders. I thought - Dang - that is a close hit, I better start unplugging all my electronic 'stuff'. I had to just smile, that great big 6-year old - kind of smile, that - it fooled me that well. I can state: It does - outlast me at 10 -14 hours a day. It does sound great to me. (I did hear, you can do better - at about $300 USD) - I don't have that kind of budget. But even then their battery life won't match this! I know what I like and - what I love. I do love these. I will wait for a sale to buy a backup. But That is just me. But I will. Thanks for your time - I know I can be long-winded. In closing, I think you will like/love these. I get nothing for my reviews – other than an occasional – thanks. After charging with a 500 MAh charger - I will consistently get 13:45 (H/M) before the low battery beep sounds off in the headset. I don't use the LED lighting, ever. I have come to LOVE the swing-up mic. It mutes it and gets it out of the way. If it gets a little loose from use, a little 1 inch (14 mm) piece if electrical tape, between mic. pivot point and ear cup provides all the friction it needs w/o taking it apart. Still, love this thing and still plan on getting another as soon as it goes on sale. Not that it is not worth it at full price, it is. It is just my budget. Hope you like it as much as I do! Kevin

For those who are having software problems, the answer to your problems are with old programs! The original iCue software usually doesn't work with everyone's PC. I had numerous problems and tried different methods about 200 times, and couldn't find anything. And then I realized it was all too complicated. Download a previous version of the software and it should work immediately! REVIEW: I've always had bad headsets in my lifetime. The only good pair I have had is a pair of Turtle Beach Recons. They lasted me a long time until the cord eventually ripped out of the headset, and from there on, I have ALWAYS HAD CORD PROBLEMS. My previous headset, which was a NUBWO cheap headset that a friend recommended I get. And let me say, that was a ridiculous comfortable headset, but the mic quality was like a Blue Yeti mic with maximum gain, and the cord quality was absolute dumpster quality. The cord ripped at the connector where you would plug it into a PS4 controller, the 3.5mm jack. The same week, my Beats Pro's wire had frayed at the 3.5mm jack connector, as well. So I was fed up with headsets. I needed something without cords. I searched through Logitech, Turtle Beach (which is ridiculous expensive for their bad comfort). and even Steel Series. But then I found this for a bang up deal, and had to get it. Two days pass, this thing arrives in cool packaging, and I get it open, and reveal it's glory! The feel of this thing is just quality. Nothing bad about the first impressions, completely stunned! So here is my full review on my impressions, truthfully. COMFORT: This headset I could honestly take anywhere, and maybe even sleep with them on. The ear cup quality is beautiful, and the headband is thicker than a pillow! For my head, I have been used to headsets fitting right or wrong my whole life, and I have to have a specific headset that my head likes, or I just wont wear it. This was an instant feeling of comfort for my head, and I can see myself getting more Corsair headsets like this one in the future. RATING: 10/10 FUNCTIONALITY: The lesser settings of just an equalizer is sort of a let down, but they do offer 10 EQ channels from super low to super high that you can play with and become to your liking for whatever you may be doing. THE ONLY THING HORRIBLE ABOUT THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THIS HEADSET IS THE RGB TO BATTERY LIFE RATIO!!!!!!!!!! IT SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! With RGB lighting on, the headset can maybe last 1 hour before needing a FULL CHARGE. Yes, a FULL CHARGE!! This thing sports a 16 hour battery life on the website, but it can definitely last longer WITHOUT RGB LIGHTING ENABLED!!!!! The only downside about this, would be that every time you boot your PC, you have to turn RGB off or have a single profile that has disabled RGB, so it lessens the hassle of doing it every time. More functionality PROS would be the range on this thing! 40 feet, or 12 meters, is absolute insanity! I can go anywhere in my house and this thing just does not fray out for sound or anything! -- Microphone quality is not something you'd expect. It is crisp and clear, and DOES INCLUDE a pop filter to put over the mic, but does not sport huge quality. It is more of a more improved and clarified MW2 lobby mic sound, rather than anything 'spectacular'. It does however have directional noise cancellation for the microphone, and two dedicated ways to mute the mic. Simply putting the mic back up will mute it, and putting it down will unmute it, as well as a dedicated mute button on the left side, under the power button. What makes little sense to me is putting it next to the power button, but those with an IQ over 10 can figure out that the mute button is much larger than the smaller power button. Just a thought. RATING: 6/10 (THE RGB FUNCTIONALITY MAKES NO SENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) SOUND QUALITY: There's really no need to be so hard on sound quality. This thing's got 50mm drivers, huge surround sound benefits, and a Dolby Active Noise Cancelling. Now, not EVERYTHING is noise cancelling. I can still hear my keyboard during quiet times in games, but usually, I'm not focusing on my keyboard's sounds when I'm playing games that really overpower the sounds with great sound and lots of bass. It's super easy to hear enemies with these, and there really isn't lag if you have enough power to support it with your PC. RATING 10/10 OVERALL: THIS HEADSET IS AMAZING. JUST PLEASE DISABLE RGB LIGHTING FOR IT TO BE USED PROPERLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a wonderful day.

Sound quality is fantastic, no qualms in this department even playing around with the settings with various games such as "World of Warcraft, Elite Dangerous, Borderlands, etc.." the system is on point so far, the Dolby is pretty awesome especially coming from a Creative Labs product(Sound Blaster Tactic3d Rage Wireless). The mic actually surprised me, based from watching a few reviews about this headset and the commonality seems to be that the mic is relatively quiet, and how the mic bends into place, but playing with it off of my head and setting into place, its pretty loud at least over the sidetone(mic feedback). Still have to play with it on discord a little to experience the fullness of the headset. Overall would recommend the headset. Now here's where the BUT comes into play,... I seriously wish that the headset manufactures would seriously stop having a presumption that everyone has big domes... Even on the smallest fit for the head adjustment, the things still slightly to big for my dome. This is the third company that I have purchased a gaming headset from and it fits like the rest on the smallest head adjustment, still slightly too big. Now I'm not saying I have a really small dome, but holy crap man, on the largest head adjustment it looks like it would fit someone whose dome around is around 12". It sags right on top of my ears and after about 30 min game time, I can start feeling the pressure on my ears and when I even slightly move it feels like my ears just got torn off and set on fire on my head. Comfortable headset don't get me wrong but come on, most of my buddies mention the similar thing with theirs from other manufactures. Great headset altogether, I love it. But because of the strange head sizing manufactures go with, is why I am giving this a 4. Would love to give it a 5, but this is the only issue I have experienced with this headset so far, like my last one, and the one before that. Honestly, I can put my index finger which is about 1/2" of an inch between the top of my head and the bottom of the headset, and holy crap, the comfort is there with the pressure off of the top of my ears. I understand I can put on a beanie or a hat or add something to fill in that spot, but if I am buying a product and need to adjust this or that, then that tells me that the product was made for a specific set of whatever it may be in mind and not the rest. If manufactures shaved off maybe a 1/4" on both sides of the adjustment or added a larger adjustment range for the slightly smaller domes, I think this would be perfect, done deal, no questions asked. Overall, great sound quality, great mic feed back, and the comfort is awesome especially with the memory foam and breathable mesh fabric, and I have been playing around with the headset for almost 2 full days now with the battery not fully charged and have only went from 56% at opening to 36% without the LED Logo on, but will update when I get to that point based off of the charge to have a full range time on it.

These are quite a bit heavier than most of the gaming headsets I have used, but I suppose that's what you get with solid quality construction and lithium battery inside. The extra weight does not necessarily make them less comfortable however. They are quite comfortable and fit over the hears just fine. I am very pleased at how well they block out ambient noise even when they are not pushing any sound. I can't say enough about the excellent build quality. These are solid and you can tell they are built to last vs. other headsets I have used at a similar price point that have a more "plasticy" feel. (Not that these arn't plastic -- they just feel more like solid, military grade plastic and not like a toy.) Most of the headphones that have gone bad on me have been cord issues, so without a cord I am hoping these will last a long time. Instalation was easy. I have not messed with the equilizeer function program thing they say comes with it. That is where you can adjust levels and change your led lights I am assuming. I just plugged in the dongle, turned on the headphones, set them as the default playback device on my Windows 7 machine and they just work. Distance is about a room away. We have a fairly small house and I cannot get to the bathroom (one room between the computer room and the bathroom) with these, but that is not a big deal. They are not meant to be something you walk around the house and yard doing chores with and I understand that. Sound quality is pretty good I suppose. I'm not the best judge of that. Seems like about on par with the Logitechs I had before. Volume will blow your ears off with no distortion and that's good enough for me. The volume up/down knob seems like good quality.

I've gone through a few different headsets in my time of PC Gaming. They didn't fit comfortably. The sound quality wasn't what I expected. A lack of durability made them prematurely unusable. I could go on, but why bother? Instead, I'll speak on why I love this headset. Let's start with comfort, which I'd be willing to be will be the main concern everyone has when searching for a new headset... Honestly, I forget that I have these on. That's not a joke. That's not an exaggeration. I have literally forgotten that these were on my head after a gaming session! The memory foam in the cups, how soft the fabric around them is, the amount of adjustment you have to get them to sit perfectly on your head... Amazing! Now let's talk about noise cancellation, which these do very well. Obviously they're not perfect, since they weren't designed to be a pair of studio headphones or something like that. What they do, they do well. You can still hear what's going on around you if the volume of said happenings are loud enough, but you primarily hear what's playing through the headset. It does an excellent job of muffling outside noise and immersing you in your game, music, movie, etc. Just, not so much that someone could be breaking into your house and you wouldn't hear it, haha! Let's move on to sound quality. Before we do, I want to state that I have a sound card installed in my computer, so I have the audio tuned with a custom preset to fit my liking. With that out of the way, I will say that I love the sound of this headset. In-game voices, both from the AI in the game itself and from teammates in Discord are crystal clear. The bass is very deep and rumbling, so when an explosion happens, it sounds like you're actually standing right next to it. When playing a racing game, the roar of the engine sounds to satisfying that I feel like I'm actually behind the wheel. Mids and highs are very nice as well; they don't get washed out by the bass, but they don't wash the bass out either. But what about the battery life? I was always hesitant to buy anything wireless for my PC because of having to charge, but honestly, I'm glad I took a shot this time. I can get several days worth of gaming sessions out of this headset before I need to plug it in. When I do, it takes a couple of hours to fully charge, but that's not a big deal to me. I purchased the Corsair ST100 RGB Headset Stand to go along with this headset, and they pair up nicely together, and it makes storing and charging the headset a breeze, but even without the stand, it's still remarkably easy. The RGB is the icing on the cake, because I personally love RGB. I also love the features that the microphone has. Flip it down, and your mic is on; flip it up, and the mic is muted! There are also controls on the side of the headset for mute, volume, power, etc. which make using the headset a piece of cake. All in all, I love this headset, and I 100% recommend it to anyone in the market for something of high quality!

EDIT: so this headset IS still working, im just a bit dumb. The problem was the original charger had gone bad. after a while of accidentally getting it yanked out it became broken, and i needed to just get a new charger for it. the charger is micro USB (the same kind the old samsungs used) so it's pretty easy to replace. but the headset still works like a charm, just needed a new charger! I bought this headset in November of 2019, and edited this review 1/28/2021. the headset is still good! ------------------------Pros---------------------------- - Distance, I can walk throughout my entire house with these boys. (microwaves, laundry machines, and outside will cause interference) -Long battery life! These things can be charged up and last almost all day! I've been in voice chats for lengthy hours and have had them hold up wonderfully. -Sound. The sound on these are great, and the feature of being able to turn up and down the volume on the headset is absolutely amazing. -comfort. This headset is very comfortable, the padding on the ears is so nice that at times i will wear my glasses with them! Charger- the charger this comes with is very long, good for moving a little by your desk. Installation- very very easy. it was as easy as plugging in the USB and it worked. even better, you can also use this on ps4! ------------------------Cons---------------------------- - Charging while wearing. This is an odd one, because i didn't start getting this until after a few months, but I noticed an annoying ringing that would drive me absolutely insane whenever the headset were being charged as I wore them. (this was the charger going bad and it was struggling to get a connection / pass electricity, good thing to take note of if yours does this) - Mic. The mic isn't the greatest quality sadly. I mean, it is good, and sounds clear. but it's not quite as crisp as it could be. I have a kid's mic made by Disney in 2003 and it sounds a lot better than this $70-80 headset's mic. - sound cancelling. not as much as some other headsets I've tried. I can still hear things, people speaking, radios, etc. which, this may be a pro really sense you don't want to shut out everything completely, just know it sounds muffled not completely out. (THE BELOW WAS ALL FROM THE BAD CHARGER, AND IS NO LONGER AN ISSUE AS THEY WORK LIKE NEW) -final hours. This is probably the worst of the head set, in the past few days it's been cutting in and out like i had a microwave running on my desk, and finally, as i was in voice chat the last few hours of the day, the headset turned off without signaling me the battery was dying. I thought i had ignored it and plugged it in. it died while plugged in. I kept turning it on while plugged in and eventually it sounded a loud, kinda frighting ring / beep in my ear, and completely stayed off. i tried turning it on and it wouldn't even try. I let it charge during the night that night to see if it was deader than dead, and by morning i turned it back on. it wouldn't turn on. it won't turn on without it being plugged in, and when it does, only for a few seconds before turning off. --------------------------------------------------

I'm going to give this headset a 5-star review, even though there are things I don't particularly care for about them. First, the thing I probably love the most. Unlike the vast majority of headphones and headsets, these do not crush my ears. They are only the second pair I have ever owned that didn't. That being said, they are bulky. If you don't like heavy headphones that totally cover your ears, these probably aren't for you. However, if that's what you like, then great! Second, if you like headsets that make it so environmental sounds around you are fairly blocked out, this may just be the headset for you. My hubby tends to complain that I don't hear him, even when I have the headset on but no sound coming through it. I do wish I could hear a bit more in my environment, but I suppose there are a ton of people that would really prefer that. Next, the microphone. I heard some reviews that made the microphone sound really, really bad. And I wonder how in the world they managed to get such poor quality out of this headset. I have recorded and listened to audio recorded through the mic, and it's great. No, it's not ultra-premium, but you are also not buying a studio mic. It works great for my Skype and Discord calls. Not utterly crystal clear, but it's actually better than my H800's whose mic I thought sounded tinny. Probably the other thing I like most about this headset other than the fact it doesn't crush my ears is the battery life. I get a solid 16 hours charge with constant use, perhaps even a bit more. Overall this is a great wireless headset, and we probably all know how hard it is to find a good one. My husband has the wired version and likes them as much as I do, even with the couple things I consider drawbacks.

First of all let me get the good stuff out of the way. I love Corsair products, every other peripheral on my PC is Corsair. I expected great build quality out of the box and I was not disappointed. The headset was great comfort-wise for extended gaming sessions, like 5+ hours and I had no headache or annoying pressure from the headset. It looks pretty snifty, except for the gigantic mic boom, kind of awkward, but not so bad as to rate the product negatively. That is about as much as I can find that is good about this thing though, so without further ado... Why, exactly, when I use the selling feature of this headset (Hint: It's Wireless) do you feel the need to have some obnoxious voice yell at me when my battery is low? Or even better, why does this headset like to tell me "Entering Auto-Shutdown Mode." whenever I have a short break in content coming through the headphones? I get it, you got a neat feature that will save folks battery life if they aren't constantly using it, making the charge last longer...That's fantastic. But I don't need some horrible, and overly loud, voice yelling at me for all of these milestones. If this can be turned off somehow, I can't find that option, that would make me hate this headset less. Sound Quality. Yea. No. I came from a Razer Kraken Pro 7.1 and as far as I'm concerned that is the measuring stick that I will use for any headset I purchase now. The first thing I did after getting this new headset 'installed' and working was to hop back into discord with my buddies...I had made the mistake of turning on the 'Dolby headphone' setting in CUE, and holy hell. Not only was the lovely voice there to yell at me about turning on the surround but everyone speaking sounded like they were in their bathroom talking into a bowl. Turned that off immediately...so glad I got a 7.1 headset and I can't stand using the feature, but lets keep trying here. Hopped into Destiny 2. What in the actual f*** are these presets y'all have as defaults? The sounds were all over the place. Bullets sounded like they were little pellet guns, and the music was all highs and washed out. "OK...I can fix this..." I thought. Nope. I spent an hour tweaking the EQ, looking up stuff on the Corsair forum and got to what was described as the 'best' option based on what I could find. Everything was mostly balanced from my testing on music, so I fired discord and the game back up. No matter what I tried, the game just sounded wrong. Sounds had no impact, bass was severely subdued, and voices from discord were muted and hard to differentiate from the game sound. Positional audio was also meh, like, I have earbuds that perform better for positional audio than this headset. Overall, a super flashy looking headset with less than great inner workings. Now this gets to sit in the box as a backup for when my main headset actually stops working. Not excited by that fact, but oh well. I wouldn't recommend this headset. Unless the idea of a computer lady yelling at you really floats your boat, and if that is the case, buy this thing immediately.
