I have been stepping up the size of memory and also increasing spped, since memory speed matters, but I'd say amount first, then speed. I often have 150 even two hundred webpages open, that is going to occupy considerable space in memory, also I run virtual machines on my computer, they can also crave for memory, hence I am now up tp this amount of memory. Large memory reduces swap onto the hard disk aand I want as little swap as possible. The speeds of these DDR5s and fine for me, there are jet faster memory modules that might squeeze somewhat more performance, I have bought Corsair for many years now and have had now failures with them. ... show more

I wanted some good memory to go with an all-white build, and dont care much for RGB on RAM. Very fast, but like with all RAM, you have to go into the BIOS and change the speed to get the full 6400mts capability from it. It defaults to 4800mts, as all RAM kits do, which is the standard speed for ddr5
