Despite the limited software (for now) this delivers in every mark. I had tried many other more expensive keyboards but this one was the best. Love the size and feel of this. Would be nice to have a cordless option but absolutely zero complaints - this keyboard is absolutely excellent!

Overall nice keyboard, but it has a keystroke chattering issue, sometime it register a key press twice, annoying, hopefully will be fixed in future firmware updates, could be a deal breaker for most users. Also it doesn't support icue yet so I have to use the web interface which offers limited functionality compared to icue and is not that comfortable to use. I read that it is expected to be added to icue next month (February). ... show more

After trying a linear keyboard for a few years I decided to go back to tactile switches. I like to rest my fingers on my keycaps and on linear switches this led to me accidentally pressing buttons all the time. Got the tactile version of the Vanguard 96 and the keys sound so smooth when typing. I love that I can also upload personal photos to customize the keyboard as my very own. Today is November 2025 I expect to use this keyboard for many years and will come back to update this review if durability does not hold well long-term. ... show more

this keyboard is amazing, truly. i got the purple keys and they feel and sound so awesome. i love typing this review right now on this keyboard, it feels so good. the only downside is that it doesnt use icue yet... the customization method is pretty cool though, you dont need to download anything, you just go onto corsair's website and it connects directly to the keyboard to customize its coloration, patters, keys, all the other intricate features along with the picture on the little screen which is pretty cool... you can upload whatever picture or little video you want? nice touch. i got it only sale for black friday so it was very worth it. 10/10 ... show more

Honesty, one star is to many... i feel like i was ripped off by buying this borderline unusable keyboard, while using it, it will randomly black out, meaning lights, lcd, and inputs, meaning that it cannot be used, at least not until you reset it, which of course means that you loose any and all customization and settings that you put in place, and then when you do get it back, it will spam which ever key it decids to spam, until you unplug it, and plug it back in, for the second time, buecause you need to unplug it to reset it. not to mention the way that you set it up is also a joke, why is corsair equipment, not working with icue? why did they decide the web portal is a better option? because i can assure you, IT IS NOT, its worse in every way, and gets bugged out when you do have icue open, so, in order to setup this keyboard, you first have to completely close out icue, so, hope you have on board memory on your other devices, then attempt to setup the keyboard, then open i cue again, then have the keyboard blackout, so that you need to reset it, and then do this ALL OVER AGAIN, i would not pay $20 for this keyboard. ... show more

Works good, doesn't currently work with ICUE. Need to use the Corsair Online page to even edit it. Cable that came with the keyboard is far shorter than their older wired keyboards. Wish it came with a longer one than risk it with some 3rd part USB C Cable. The frame is also slightly bent, so it wobbles. Key caps quality is much nicer than the k70. Wrist rest is this plastic leather, I worry of how it'll last in the years to come but it attachment via magnets take worry out of my mind when taking it off. The screen is novile, though I don't have much use for the elgato keys, I might find some use in the future if I get back into streaming. Also it does not have a USB Port in the back for peripherals. Only a USB C port to plug it in under it. Shame. ... show more

It feels great, it's responsive, and comfortable. It's honestly one of the best keyboards I've gotten my hands on. It being a 96% also saves a surprising amount of desk space. Will be buying another as a gift for my partner.
