  • RGB Fanboy. I'm sorry
Style: RGB Stand
First off, I think whoever brought RGB mainstream deserves an award. That being said I dove head first into the colored goodness of having as much RGB components as possible. Corsair happily fed my obsession by having every piece of external peripherals made with RGB. If they ever get their software to work properly this would be genius. Both the bottom and the Corsair logo on the top light up. The USB port on the base can give power and data. I don't care about the sound pass through as I use a high quality dac for my sound processing. My Corsair void also has built in 7.1 surround. In conjunction with my rgb keyboard, mat and headphones, also all from corsair I am getting my daily fix of RGB. Hugely positive comments from anyone who visits my office. My computer tower is also drenched in RGB. Corsair, take that RGB coaster idea from Razer please! ... show more

  • If you can find it on sale for less than $50, it would be a steal.
Style: RGB Stand
Having used other headset stands of similar size and design, but made of plastic, its well worth it that this one is made of aluminum. My old headset stand, while obviously much less expensive, was so light that any movement of the headset cable would move the stand and placing the headset on that plastic stand would cause it to bend from the weight. This stand suffers from neither of those issues. Its rock solid, doesn't move around and doesn't flex from the weight of my headset. I did not buy this to use the built in sound card, so I am not commenting on or reviewing that aspect of the device. Though Windows did recognize it immediately and switched the audio and mic devices, which I then had to switch back. So that's a good thing for people who do want to use it for that purpose. The RGB lighting functions without the Corsair software, defaulting to a rainbow pattern. As I don't own any other Corsair devices, I don't plan on installing the software required to change the RGB. The fact that it functions without the software does tell me it has some sort of on board storage that's saving the lighting pattern, so I would assume you could install the software, change the lighting to what you want, then either keep the software from running again or uninstalling it. I may update this review if I end up doing that later. The Corsair Sail logo defaults to a basic white color, which is fine for me as I have all the lighting in my system set to white as well. The dual USB 3.1 ports work just fine as well, so it seems the entire unit can function without the use of the Corsair software. Even the sound card does function, as I mentioned before because Windows recognized it, you just won't be able to adjust the settings or switch between Stereo and 7.1 mode without that software. It is a bit on the expensive side, especially if you don't plan on using all its features, but its quality is well worth it. ... show more

  • Colors are wrong
Style: RGB Stand
Corsair Gaming ST100 RGB Premium Headset Stand with 7.1 Surround Sound I just replaced my first one that didn't work out of the box. Neither does this one - so either the batch is bad or the product itself is bad. Note; I have the Corsiar keyboard (K95 Plat) and the colors work perfectly. In the first picture you see green - but it should be yellow and the rgb values are (255, 255, 0). In the second picture you see yellow - but it should be orange and the rgb values are (255, 96, 0). Note: Yes, it is true that when you lock your Windows system (or iCue otherwise loses connectivity) your keyboard can go do a default hardware style, however the ST100 stand will start color cycling. I don't know if the actual manufacturer reads posts here, but I'd like to know if the color accuracy is going to be fixed, or I'll send back my replacement as well and keep a watch on the product for hardware updates and perhaps buy it again in the future. ... show more

  • It's all they got so it's what I get
Style: RGB Stand
Purchased this to hold up my new void series headset from corsair that I got for Christmas. Wish it had wireless charging and that the side USB port actually charged fast enough to use the headset while it was on. But none the less if you want the matching and only available corsair stand this is what you get. The rgb lighting is neat and syncs up with the rest of the corsair rgb line for some groovy light shows. I haven't used the speaker feature yet as I don't need it so that was just a bonus. Pro's: super sturdy base and arm made from aluminum and syncs up with the RGB line up like a champ. Holds headset like it should. Cons: USB port on the side does not charge fast enough to use while plugged in. No padding on the arm to dissipate headset weight causing the headset head pad to become deformed if left on the stand to long. Headset pad might become permanently squished down if you're using the void series from corsair. ... show more

  • Caused Problems with Corsair Void Pro Headset
Style: RGB Stand
This stand caused a hardware conflict with another product that they currently manufacture. The Corsair Void Pro headset can even be bought bundled with this stand on Amazon, so beware. I had been using the Void Pro headset for four weeks without any issue. I had an up to date installation of Corsair's iCue software. Everything worked beautifully before the stand arrived. When I plugged in the ST100 stand to a USB 3.0 port on the motherboard it was automatically added to the iCue software. Things appeared to work fine. However, the sound would drop suddenly from the headset after around five minutes. After a reboot the sound would work again on the headset. But then it would drop randomly again. I unplugged the ST100 stand's USB from the PC and rebooted. Everything worked properly again, no drops. I have no doubt that I could get this thing working properly but at this price I shouldn't have to deal with workarounds for hardware conflict issues on two products made by the same company (and sold as a bundle on Amazon). The stand is pretty (as it should be for the price) but it isn't designed to hold the Void Pro headset as it smashes the cushion on the headband in the middle and deforms it. I never return things. This was returned to Amazon. PROS: Pretty LED lights, software controlled light patterns, stand is nice and heavy CONS: Built-in soundcard caused issues with headset made by Corsair, expensive ... show more
