Looking at other reviews, and the product that I got late last year, it seems like if your package is not handled with care, then the headset breaks easily. Mine luckily did get too damaged. The detachable mic, according to my friends on discord, sounded worse than before, which was a bother so I went with some alternative mic. In the now, the part of the cord that is attached to the headset is beginning to get lose and I am losing sound in the left ear. These headphones are some of the best headphones I have ever owned for sound quality. Issue is, they keep breaking. I have had 3 different headsets of this type I have liked them so much. But it also ends the same way, broken within about 6 months. 2 times the ear connect for the left headphone snapped causing the sound go shortly with it to. The other time the haptic bass feedback stopped working and only provided a high pitch whine. To Cosair's credit, they did replace them. It is likely that the reason these keep being damaged is I do travel a lot due to work, but even with a traveling case the on and off wear that comes with my job quickly takes its toll. If you do not need to move this headset frequently, This headset is amazing. But for those who need to travel with them, like I, only get these if you accept you will be replacing them shortly. ... show more

These headphones are unfortunately the best headphones I've ever had... they are so unintentionally amazing for music without being music headphones. I've owned 2 pairs of Razer Nari Ultimates, currently typing this review while wearing Skullcandy Crusher Evo's, and unfortunately ready to purchase these headphones.... for the third time in 18 months.. I literally just bought my last pair the beginning of April, and already there is an issue with the left ear completely cutting off until you wiggle the cord the right way, and for the first pair, similar issue, but the left ear sounded like a tunnel rather than cutting off completely, so it's obvious the material to make these headphones is really cheap. But again, these headphones are unfortunately amazing when they work, the razer nari ultimates have an issue where you can physically hear the rumbling in the headphones, and these skullcandy crusher Evos are honestly the most uncomfortable headset I've ever worn, my ears get extremely soar after only 1 hour of wearing them. So yeah.. here we are, I'm about to purchase these for the third time... ... show more

While this headset won't top the charts for pure overall sound quality and accuracy, they do sound great for the price, and the haptics (first pioneered by the Razer Nari Ultimate, but done slightly better here, imo) really add a sense of deep bass and oomph that's missing from regular headsets and I don't think I can go back, so I'm giving it 5 stars for sound quality for that. Using this for my ps5 and it’s been pretty decent. The usb needs to be plugged in after the system is on or it will not connect, not a big deal. The volume control is not compatible with the ps5. The mic is super sensitive which sometimes can be a bad thing as it pics up all the sounds in the room and me breathing lol. The sound is amazing with the haptic feedback ... show more

If there's been any complaint at all in my household with this headset, it's that the noise cancellation is so good I can't hear my wife from six feet away when I'm gaming or listening to music. The over-ear fit is very comfortable, the sound quality is great, and the detachable microphone works as expected. Love the haptic feedback to give the headset an extra 'bassy' feel, especially with surround-sound explosions and the like in movies and video games. They don't seem to have any multimedia controls for skipping songs and the like, but that's one very minor complaint in a sea of great features. ... show more
