  • Great wired headset - excellent for gaming and work
Color: Arctic Camo
My old Plantronics (10 years+) started to give me bad feedback and noise, especially when using the mic. So it was time for a new headset. I wanted something I could use for work and for gaming with my PC. Wireless was not important to me, but I wanted a more comfortable feeling, a very good mic/noise cancelling mic, and good sound quality. I also did not want to spend $200. After searching and researching I settled on the Corsair HS60. I was iffy on it - some of the reviews here were 'meh' and 'not good' and 'broken out of the box' but on sale for $120ish I figured if they weren't any good I could always return them. They came really fast and I were basically Plug & Play. My RAM is also Corsair and the headset works with ICUE but the headset doesn't have RGB lights. I'd have to look into this feature more to see what the headset can do with it. I bring it up because when I plugged in the headset, it wanted me to update the software. Anyway - the headset installed and needed a reboot, and then worked perfectly. The headset is one of the most comfortable I've ever used, it's comfort is leaps ahead on my Plantronics and tiny Logitech headset I use at work. The sound quality is very good, and it's volume range is robust. So far, the mic has been working as I need it, I've used it in over ten work meetings and five gaming sessions, and other than moving the mic closer to my mouth there have been zero feedback complaints or background noise pickups. The headset has some decent noise-reduction, I can't hear my dog whining or my girlfriend crying for help when she drops something unless it's really big/glass. I didn't buy the headset for the haptic response, although it is a cool feature for gaming. I do appreciate I can control how much of the effect comes through. I don't mind that they're wired - since I'm using them at my work/gaming PC. The only thing I hate about them - it only comes in this camo pattern/color. It is not my aesthetic. Lastly, I think there are well worth the $100+, I'd say they are somewhere "well above" your generic $20-60 headset. If you needs are similar to mine, I would highly recommend this headset. ... show more

  • It is compatible with PS4 Pro
Color: Arctic Camo
I was a little worried that these wouldn't work with my PS4 but I plugged it in and it worked straight away. I played a few games in Apex and audio positioning was excellent the haptic effect is damn good and took a minute to get used to and calibrate but I like it and kind of want other manufacturers to offer the feature. You can turn down/off the effect if you don't like it but why would you buy these if you aren't going to use it just get the HS60 Pro. The only downside is that the volume control on the headset doesn't work and you have to hit the PS button and lower the volume down/up that way but for the haptic feature I'll put up with that little minor issue. Pros: - audio quality is excellent - it's very comfortable - haptic effect is amazing been loving it so far - great for music and movies - amazing for FPS footsteps/positioning - build quality is great they don't feel cheap Cons: - leather ear covers make me sweat a little bit with long use not bad but I wish it was cloth instead of fake leather. - it's not fully compatible with PS4 the volume control on the headset doesn't work you have to go into the XMB by holding down the PS button and raise/lower volume that way I want them to make these fully compatible with PS4/PS5/Xbox, change from leather to cloth and make the ear pads a bit larger. The haptics are freaking fantastic it truly does make a difference. ... show more

  • great sound, cheap ear cushions
Color: Carbon
I've purchased this headset about 3 times over the last 5 or 6 years and I'm currently using logitech pros and i miss the corsairs - the only caveat is the ear cushions are made of super cheap material and start degrading after a 6 months to a year, leaving little black specs on your skin and all over your desk. You can purchase off brand replacement ear cushions but they compromise sound.. definitely a great headset tho, make sure you turn the bass up on the side of the headset and listen to your favorite song - you wont regret it :) ... show more

  • Ramen-Fueled Gaming Bliss: Corsair HS60 HAPTIC Takes Me on a Bass-Boosted Ride!
Color: Carbon
Yo, fellow gamers! I'm here to spill the deets on the Corsair HS60 HAPTIC Stereo Gaming Headset with Haptic Bass, and let me tell ya, it's like I've found the ultimate gaming companion without even leavin' my ramen nest. This thing's got more vibes than my gaming rig's RGB lighting! First off, this headset's like a soft cloud huggin' my ears – no joke, I could be in an intense raid for hours and my ears feel cozier than my bed after a gaming marathon. And let's talk bass, man. The haptic bass ain't no wimpy shake – it's like a full-blown bass drop right on my dome, bringin' my game explosions to life in a way that even my trusty instant ramen can't top. Now, I ain't no audiophile, but the sound quality's so crisp I swear I can hear my opponents rage-quittin' across the server. Footsteps, gunshots, even the distant cries of my hunger pangs – this headset picks 'em all up like I've got supersonic ears or somethin'. And the noise cancellation's like puttin' up a "Do Not Disturb" sign to the outside world, keepin' my gaming bubble sacred. And let's talk about the haptic part. It's like the headset's givin' me a friendly pat on the back every time I land a headshot or pull off a slick move. It's like my own personal victory dance without even gettin' outta my chair! Plus, the haptic bass syncs up with my game's explosions and thumps, makin' me feel like I'm in the middle of the action – ramen bowl and all. Now, I know I ain't the healthiest eater, but even I can appreciate this headset's comfort. It's like wearin' a pair of fluffy pillows on my ears, even when I'm rockin' the headset through marathon gaming sessions fueled by my stash of ramen noodles. My ears stay comfy even if my posture's a mess. All in all, the Corsair HS60 HAPTIC Stereo Gaming Headset's my trusty sidekick in my quest to conquer digital worlds without leavin' my ramen lair. If you're lookin' for a headset that'll make your game vibes hit harder than a midnight snack attack, this one's a no-brainer. Five stars? Nah, this headset deserves a high score that goes off the charts! ... show more

  • Fantastic Bass, Clear & Amazing Quality. Fantastic Bass, Clear & Amazing Quality.
Color: Carbon
Sounds great watching movies, the bass will vibrate your eyes if you sit real still & relax. comments about pairs with weak to no bass must be deaf, lying or have a defective pair. Also great for music/music producing. the mids somewhat bleed together, but not definitely not horrible. The mic is also pretty nice, perhaps a little bit tinny, but still very crisp. can even record acoustic guitars with great clarity. also simply great for maxxing out your mic volume & blowing people's eardrums out in video games. It does recommend installing the Corsair iCUE Software, which I absolutely do not recommend. The headset is fully functional without it. iCUE gives you access to an EQ for the headphones, but this can be achieved with other, less finicky software. ... show more

  • Great...until it falls apart Great...until it falls apart
Color: Arctic Camo
I purchased this item almost exactly one year ago. I owned a headset with the same technology from kickstarter and was looking for something a bit more comfortable. I heard that the same company was working with Corsair so I jumped at the chance to get my hands on these. I do find the headset to be comfortable and the sound quality is solid. While these headphones don't quite pack the same punch as the ones from kickstarter I still love the taction technology in these. All that being said I'm sitting here a year later and the leather is all fraying, The bracket on one side of my headset has broken and now the ear piece just dangles. I don't expect headphones in this price range to last forever, but only a year to me is unacceptable for someone that takes care of their equipment. ... show more

  • Great sounding headphones - but I'm returning them
Color: Arctic Camo
For $117, I want a 12 foot cable. I want an 1/8' jack. I want a design that doesn't look that silly. The haptic thing is a gimmick. It's a cool gimmick, but it really only works well with shooting games. I was willing to forgive the ridiculous finish and the lack of an 1/8' and even lack of a long cable if the haptics really blew me away and added to my music experience or gaming experience. For me, the haptic feedback was interesting and kinda cool.. but the idea of listening to anything for any length of time to have your head shake every time an explosion happens was too fatiguing. With music it just overpowered the bass frequencies - but who wants to listen to music through a USB headset? Plenty of headphones that can give you the depth and the punch that these are striving for without the gimmick. I've got no problem with gimmicks if they really add to the experience. With that said, the sound quality on its own, without the haptic doohickey was very very good. Very lively without any shrill highs and great bass frequency balance. The headphones were comfortable enough, a bit tight for me but even so, they didn't squeeze my glasses on my face which was nice. If you want your games' explosions to really stand out, that's what these headphones are excellent for. If you just want good sounding headphones I'd just get the HS60, same headphones without the haptic feedback. They do sound excellent. ... show more

Color: Carbon
My son loves this gaming headphone set. These offer crystal clear sound, are noise cancelling, and make you feel like you are part of whatever game you are playing. He has only ever used the Corsair Haptics and loves them. They last a very long time too!!!
