After seeing several reviews, I was concerned the phone wouldn't be unlocked. It was. There was conflicting information in product description. In the main information, where it lists brand, model name, operating system, memory storage etc., where it says 'wireless carrier' it clearly says 'Verizon wireless', which was a concern, since my carrier is AT&T. Then further down, in the 'About This Item' section it says 'GSM Unlocked Device, Compatible with Most GSM Carriers like T-Mobile, AT&T, MetroPCS, etc. Will NOT work with CDMA Carriers Such as Verizon, Sprint'. I just popped the SIM card out of my old phone, and put it in the Galaxy A53, and it worked perfectly. Cosmetically, the phone looked almost new. I was completely satisfied with this purchase. I haven't had it long enough to really know about the battery, face recognition or the fingerprint reader, but from all appearances, there is absolutely nothing wrong with phone, and I would buy it again.

Dissatisfied with "renewed " products

Purchased this February 19th. Periodically felt the phone getting hot. Had thought that it was from downloading updates. With summer, had a couple of times where the phone indicated overheating and switched to dark mode. Yesterday it indicated overheating (I was in conditioned space) and the screen went black. I could not open the phone. This morning, I took the phone out of its protective sleeve and could start the phone. However any pressure on the frame caused the phone to turn off. Looking at the frame made me realize the problem is that the battery was swelling. It is too late to return the phone, but I am very dissatisfied that I paid for only 4 1/2 months of use. It was a risk, but I won't buy "renewed" again or from this vendor.

I bought thid products for less than 150$ and I'm happy with the phone, is great works perfectly and Is fully unlocked. It has signs that it was used obviously, but nothing that can ruin your experience. Something I don't like too much is the battery it just least like 4hr but all good.

Absolutely a waste of money. Did not work at all. Poor service from Amazon. I can not return this item because I don't live in USA. The seller was to refund me $100.00. Did not see that refund when I purchased recently. Very disappointed. Absolutely the worst service provider.

The phone technically works but has issues with SIM reading. My cell plan carrier tried to do everything in their power to get it to work and they were at a loss. I finally figured out that everytime I restart the phone, I have to sart the phone in "safe mode" to get it to work. I feel, while it states the phone is unlocked, Amazon did not in fact unlock the device properly. The camera seems to have something wrong with it as well as it is blurry. I am holding onto it for now due to financial constraints of buying a new phone, but I honestly would never buy another from this seller as it's more of a hassle than it's worth.

The phone is in like-new condition, but the factory format is not perfect, so I could guess the previous user's hobbies and where he used to live or currently lives. Verizon's apps are difficult to delete. Professional formatting should be completed before selling.

I've always had LG phones which I loved but they aren't being made anymore. Last year I was talked into getting a Nokia phone which was horrible. I was only getting texts randomly so I knew I needed something different. So I did a bunch of research and decided to go with this phone and omg am I happy I did. It is by far the best phone I've ever owned. The sound is great, pictures come out wonderful and I can even see the screen at the beach on a sunny day. I would have never known it was refurbished and I know there are tons of features I haven't even used yet. I cannot say enough how much I love this phone!! If you are considering buying it do it!! You won't be sorry. It's like a brand new phone ❤️
