    • Good Quality Portable Air Compressor For Use With Dewalt 20V Type Batteries
This portable air compressor is very easy to use is the first feature that stands out to me. Ideal for high pressure bike tires, car tires and filling up balls and floats. To use it, you set the setting to PSI to begin with, and then set the pressure you want to pump up to. Then clamp on the valve connector on the end of a nice long sized flexible hose to the valve fitting and click to the button to start. It starts the pump and shows you what the pressure is at as it pumps up. There is also a LED light so you can see what you are doing from the nose of the air compressor. Note that it does use Dewalt 20 Volt battery types, and does not include a battery with it. However, for the person that already has a number of dewalt tools or batteries that is not a big deal. You can use any 20 Volt Dewalt battery for it. The portable air compressor comes with other fittings too. For example there is a ball filling fitting, an air fitting for filling up pool floats and a fitting for attachment to the Presta valves for bike tires. One minor detail that is in the instructions is that it recommends not using it for for than 10 minutes at a time, and then let it rest for 10 minutes, in order to prolong the life of the unit.     • Good little air pump compatible with Dewalt 20V Battery packs
This is a great little handheld air pump that is powered by your existing Dewalt battery pack (assuming you have those). I tested it out and it worked as intended. You put the battery on, pull the trigger (which just acts like an on off switch, you push it once, its on, one more time and its off). The plastic material is not the same quality or finish as my dewalt tool set, but I wasn't really expecting it to be. The device comes with a standard connector for your car tires, a ball pump, a small fill nozzle that would work for things like pool floats, tubes etc. and a "french" adapter that I suppose is for some fittings we do not have here in the USA because nothing I owned would fit with it. ... show more

Purchased this and another inflator to compare. Both are good inflators and work well. The other inflator came with a battery but no option to use other types and I could not find a replacement battery. I do not want to get a device that would not work if there was no easy accessible replacement battery and it seemed the battery cells was user changeable but that is not for everyone. I elected this inflator. Worked just as well as the other I tried, it did not come with a battery but I can use DeWalt 20v batteries which I currently have. This unit came with some connectors that are housed on the unit. See pictures. The competitor had more attachments in a couple of small zip bags but came with a soft/carry zippped bag. This unit does not have a car plug option (the other one had one included) or carry bag. Either would have been good and each are priced very similarly but I elected this one because I was able to use an available Amazon Coupon and got it at %45 off. Because this unit has no battery included, I would not suggest getting it unless it is on sale to offset the battery cost. But in the end returned the other and kept this one because of the lower price with the coupon made more sense. ... show more

Having multiple trailers to tow, I was looking for a portable air compressor to pack for emergency tire repairs. Without fail, trailer tires leak air or catch nails that can delay a trip if unable to air up the tire. This tire inflator unit caught my attention because it is cordless and uses the DeWalt 20v battery for power. This is perfect for me, because I own most of the DeWalt cordless tools and have many batteries and chargers around the house. The portable compressor has multiple units of measure available; I have only used psi. The lowest pressure is 3.0, going by increments of 0.5 psi up to 150 psi. I have only used for car tires so far, airing up quickly from 31 to 35 psi in very cold weather. The handheld device did not get hot after using on 3 of my 4 tires. Bonus features include a bright light for night repairs, storage for attachments, and a backlit screen to more easily read the pressure. Perfect unit for my need. Definitely recommend if you have the right DeWalt battery available. If not, could get pricey to buy the inflator, a battery, and a charger. ... show more

    • No complaints at all whatsoever
It’s well made and functions as advertised. It does tend to take several minutes if you’re airing up larger tires but this is the case with every cordless inflator I’ve tried. It’s incredibly simple though. Just set the PSI and let it run until it cuts off. It’s nice that it takes DeWalt batteries because you can just swap them out when it dies instead of having to recharge It. Overall, I’m extremely impressed. I’d recommend this over something like the actual Ryobi brand one I have any day. It’s more affordable than that one was at the time and it’s noticeably better built. ... show more

    • Easy to use, inflates fast!
I have a slow leak in one of my tires that the dealer can't seem to fix. This inflator is so handy for periodically topping this tire off! It is easy to use: just set the desired pressure, hook the hose on and pull and release the trigger (the trigger does not have to be held the whole time). It inflates really fast for a portable inflator, I have another one that takes at least twice as long. The hose is long and supple enough that I can set the inflator on the ground while it is filling. I really like that it uses Dewalt batteries rather than having a proprietary battery since I have a few of those already. The inflator is about as loud as other inflators that I have used. Not so loud as to be painful but loud enough, it's worth walking a few feet away. Included are a needle and toy/mattress inflator as well as a Schrader to Presta adapter for inflating high pressure bicycle tires. The inflator is lighter than expected but feels like it is solidly built. I'm very happy with this inflator and recommend it to anyone, especially if they already have Dewalt batteries. ... show more
