It was easy to use straight out of the box. Saved my back. I was looking for a quick, functional electric snow shovel and this worked great. It feels sturdy and has some weight to it. The snow throw was good enough for me, no sure how snow throw impacts functionality, but I’m glad I got this. My two car driveway took one battery, but I was shoveling it multiple times with two batteries interchanging. The battery life was sufficient for me. I think this was a good value for the money.

Pleasantly surprised. This snow shovel is awesome. We had a small snow storm covering up ice which fell earlier in the day. I wasn’t going to try it thinking it would not be handle the ice underneath. But I said why not, it would be a good test of how well it handle. To my surprise it took it up to the pavement. At times I need to use the handle to put some pressure and whallaaa up came the ice. It’s light weight and battery life is good. Can’t wait to use in a snow storm with no ice. Another feature I like it has a small hood which prevents the snow from spraying back at you, plus you can switch directions to where the snow is place. Right, left or straight on. We get a lot of small snow storms 3 to 6 inches. This is going to be a life saver for me. I would highly recommend it

I would give it 4 stars for simplicity and surprising power for such a small blower. It is very useful for small to medium places. In my case, what I need to clear from snow takes usually 6-10 minutes. So it is very convenient. More powerful than I thought....It cleared even frozen snow. I deducted one star because, as other reviewers noticed, the on/off button gets stuck sometimes but the battery latch is near the handle and I just take the battery off.

Besides the fact that it takes 2 hours to fully charge a battery. This thing is super annoying to use and downright dangerous. There is lock-off button that prevents you from accidently pulling the trigger similiar to what's on a circular saw. The problem is it gets jammed and is a nightmare to get unjammed. All you can do is smack it extremely hard with your hand to it to pop free and shut the thing off. I had to hit it so hard once it knocked the battery off the unit and I wasn't hitting it anywhere near the battery. Super annoying and very dangerous. I wish a more reputable brand like Dewalt would have made something like this I'd have paid twice as much for it. But when the only ones available are made by these crappy chinese companies with poor quality control and no regard for safety this is what you get.

We purchased this so I can help my hubby by clearing the side walks and deck, while he clears the drive with our full sife snow blower. This cordless snow shovel was way better then expected! I was easy to assemble, like really easy! And the power! That was the best suprise! You can adjust throwing the snow left, right or straight ahead. I had the side walk and half the drive way cleared before he had the walk behind snow blower fired up and out of the garage. This electric snow shovel is light and easy to maneuver. I have back and neck problems, and I have no problem using this shovel. We've had it about 6 weeks, and we are very happy! We ordered my my one for hos birthday. The price is on point for this product! Ot came with two batteries that last a long time, and a charger, plus a light, for after hours.

I really wanted to like this product! Plastic felt a bit flimsy, BUT worked rather well!!! Prior to purchasing it I read the on/off button gets stuck & you’ll have to remove battery to turn off, I felt they must’ve wasn’t pressing hard enough, and the EXACT issue happened to me during our first snow storm, not sure if the button was freezing up, but I was unable to turn machine off without moving battery, sometimes it will get stuck in the off position as well, and I don’t need to keep removing battery while trying to remove snow!!!! Hopefully they can fix that issue, glad I found that out on FIRST time using it, I’m returning it ASAP

Unit it's self was powerful and worked well throwing the recent powder snow. BUT the safety switch interlock would not release and you had to remove the battery to stop the blower. I returned the unit because of this problem.
