  • nice cordless Pen sander
Color: Grey
I have been looking for a sander to do small spots. I looked around at several but this one looked like what I needed. So I gave it a try and glad I did. It works perfectly to get in smaller spaces. It is high quality and easy to use. It is versatile and didn't cost a fortune.

  • Gets In the Tiniest Spaces without Danger of Damages
Color: Grey
Single woman here, refinishing my solid birch wood kitchen countertops. I started using a mouse power sander, and then a variety of small hand tools to try to do detail work along the edges where the counters reach the stovetop and porcelain farmhouse sink, but they just couldn’t get in under that sink lip, and a dark strip was visible. Enter this little lifesaver. YES, the heads are plastic, but for my needs that’s a blessing. You can imagine my fear of scratching, chipping, or outright cracking the sink. Dremels are out of the question. Absolutely no problem with the plastic head vibration along the sink edge. The head that the little sandpaper stickers adhere to is whisker thin but solid, and gets into the tiniest spaces. Yes, attaching the heads IS a challenge (one reviewer had an issue with his flying off - I really think it was his fault) The sandpaper grit starts at 800. It’s best to separate them immediately and put each in a little envelope as the stickers do fall out and aren’t individually labeled. It’s comfortable in the hand, and can be held in different ways for accessibility. The flashlight is terrific. The power and speed wheel is in an uncomfortable position - it’s not an on/off button - but it does keep you from accidentally turning it off mid use. It feels sturdy, charged quickly (USB), and the tiny case is perfect for storage. The charge also seems to be lasting for longer sanding time, but it does heat up a little after a while. It’s a little pricey at $65, but worth it for what it accomplishes. I’ve more work to do, but this is going to get me there. ... show more

  • Feels like a toy but works great. My new favorite shop tool.
Color: Grey
I have a sign shop and do a lot of restorations. It's always challenging getting the edges of lettering to be smooth and straight and there really is nothing out there that does it for really tight spaces. This is what I needed. I modified it though...glue velcro on it so I could use any hook and loop sanding paper with 60 and 80 grit. Their paper is good though, and it comes off and on easy enough. The batter lasts a long time too, which is good when I have large signs. ... show more

  • Quite nice pen sander for hobby work
Color: Blue
I really like this sander! Its been reliable, it has a good weight. The speed variability is appreciated. An important note for this sander is it oscillates left to right, not forward & backward like the DISPAE. Both are useful and desirable for different hard-to-reach spots. The usual assortment of tip shapes are available as are grits of die-cut sandpaper pads. If I had any critiques, it'd be that the included USB light is borderline useless, and that the form-factor could use a little bit of an ergonomic redesign/modernization. This is a solid product that sands well, its various heads allow you to get in and around the various shapes on your work surface, and I've yet to ever run out of juice, but I keep it topped up anyway. ... show more

  • Useful for some jobs....overheats quickly
Color: Grey
I build model railroads professionally for AffordableModelRailroads.com and so I wanted a small sander for model parts. I liked it out of the box, so much so i bought a second one to take on job sites with me; however, the cheap plastic sanding supports vibrated too much which meant it did not sand well. I am going to see if I can 3d print some more "beefier" wands that won't vibrate as much. It also has no torque, if you press just the slightest bit too hard it stops oscillating. The sanding pads get clogged up really fast, but if you cut your own from good quality sand paper that really helps. Limit the time you use them because they will heat up fast and I burned my first one out in a couple weeks.....the second one is lasting much longer as I have learned to set it aside and let it cool down frequently. ... show more

  • Disappointing quality: Tool head fails to lock
Color: Blue
Review: I cannot recommend this product. I am having significant issues with the tool head, as it will not stay securely locked during use. The vibration from the motor consistently causes the locking mechanism to fail, rendering the tool useless for any actual sanding or polishing tasks. Save your money and look for a more reliable option. ... show more

  • Great for dyi sanding
Color: Grey
I got this for small dyi sanding projects. I tested this on wood, vinyl and metal and seems to work fine as long as you choose the right grit. However, is it is not a very power machine but gets the job done for small dyi projects.

  • Doesn't stick very well
Color: Grey
It works sometimes. That's for the extra star. The sandpaper comes off really easy when being used. And the plastic heads start to warp after longer sessions of use. It does feel really cheap but for the price I guess it's ok. The fact that the sandpaper comes off too easily is really a deal breaker for me. ... show more
