For me, the wheels are a must. Assembling directions need to be much clearer, but watching the videos and seeing the online diagrams was what helped me the most. Putting on the cover and assembling the wheels was not intuitive, but it's worth the effort. I will be keeping the wheels on even if I use it vertically. Make sure the battery is charged, and then when you put the battery in place, you must make certain it is fully engaged, push it gently but firmly into place. It has a safety feature, you first press the black button beside the trigger, and while holding it in, press the trigger, it won't start without using the safety button, you can stop pressing the button in when you engage the trigger. After that if you remove your finger from the trigger, it will wind down and turn off. It keeps spinning for quite a while after you remove your finger from the trigger. It's nice and quiet, and cordless is the best! It's a great tool for the money. I would consider buying a larger model of this tool, if one is available. ... show more

Bought this for my grandpa who is in his middle 80’s and has health issues he received this yesterday he was able to put it together perfectly and it’s so lightweight that my grandma can use it as well. Definitely worth the money it’s a great little weed eater and super light easy for them to use and the battery is durable and lasts a good while. I would most definitely recommend getting this, you won’t regret it. 10/10 for sure!! ... show more

Works great on tall grass & weeds. Can get hung up on heavy rooted weeds, but unclogs quickly. Small swath but with metal blade, cuts fast. Light weight.

I bought this a few months ago waiting for the warm weather to use it in the yard. I found the instructions difficult to read because they were in fuzzy black and white. There was no mention of how to attach the wheels. Finally got it assembled with the round blade, tightened it as much as I could and ready to go. You have to push the button before you can engage the trigger. It was difficult to reach the button on the side and engage the trigger at the same time. I got it going and it was quiet. I was trimming a light hedge. It didn't cut very well. Then the blade flew off and the spacer and screw were lost. I pulled out my regular weed whacker and hedge clippers. Not one to write reviews, I don't have time for social media. This is a great tool for beginner gardeners as I am! Garden Girl power! Battery life is good, was able to wack weeds spring 2024 and cut grass in my tiny, cute SoCal yard. Also I cut down and thinned out some thick tree branches all by myself...who needs a man lol. The only complaint is that one of the black plastic wheels to use as a lawnmower did not fit properly, (that's what happens when we buy cheap items made in China) I should have returned it. I am a Flight Attendant and do not have time to waste with returns. Other than the wheel , it is a great little handy gadget and lightweight. I felt safe using it. And it was a great bargain price during holiday season 2023. Will try to return later to update with a video of tool in action, but I'm pretty busy flying here in CA. Unless we go on strike. Pay us or Chaos! Can't afford to live here in CA, so yeah, I have to buy cheap items made in China. Every food establishment raised prices AGAIN bc of Newsom raising fast food employee wages.
