It’s portable & water resistant so can be used in the shower. It is so easy to use. You simply charge it, turn it on and trim it! I have never gotten cut by it or pinched. I think every person should own their own personal one for grooming! I think it’s perfect for teens when they’re first learning how to shave or trim body hair because it’s so easy to use. It stays pretty clean without gathering hair in the blade and easy to clean! It’s painless very sharp, but safe! The light on it helps when shaving in the shower. It’s also a low sound if you’re trying to shave in private. They last a long time and are easy to travel with since the battery last. Great Father’s Day gift. Now it lasted for a while but then stopped working due to water damage. Which is odd considering it’s water proof. Overall great for the price.

I bought this for my husband for his birthday. After his favorite all purpose clippers finally died, he has bought 6 different brands that just couldn't hack through all of his thick, coarse hair. Received this 5.6.2020, I charged it up completely before giving it to him. Initial unboxing: simple, clean, brand new unit in original packaging. First charge: charging dock works perfectly. Charged completely in about an hour or so. First use: WOW! We turned it on after I gave it to him, and we were skeptical on how it would perform based off how quiet this shaver is. He shaved his head, face, neck, chest, stomach, and arms in less than 20 minutes with a close shave and ZERO cuts. He was truly pushing this into his skin to test it's limits, and not a single cut. With his old, loud trimmers, it took him over an hour to shave. I shaved his back for him in about 10 minutes, with his old trimmers it would take me about 30 minutes, I could've done it quicker, but I'm not as ballsy as he is and don't want to hurt him. Overall: super impressed with this, and so far it's well worth the price. It went through all his thick, coarse hair like it was nothing.

I always use off brand razors or buzzers to groom myself and I end up either cutting myself or not getting the cut I want. After purchasing the manscaper my problems were solved, I really like the way this trimmer works and performs, the light is very helpful when using in the shower or even in dim lighting. For me personally lasted about 4-5 times trimming before I did have to charge it which was pretty good considering I use it like once a month. Only thing is after having it for a year and a half I went on a trip away from home and left it on the charger accidentally and upon return it lasted through its trimming until it died and would not charge anymore. For devices like this it’s really common for things like this to happen, you can’t leave it on the charger after it’s charger it will eventually catch up to the device. With that said I jus bought the 4.0 and am in love!

I cannot praise Manscaped enough for this trimmer. The price was perfect. Its docking charging station is small and looks good in my bathroom. It is so easy to clean and the noise is minimal while using it. I would not have believed how helpful the little light is when I turn it on and I use it. I know it is a teimmer meant for mens genitalia, but it is amazing for womens as well. It doesnt pinch, nor leave cutting marks and its not harsh on the soft skin areas. I love this trimmer!

Updated review: I have to change from 4 stars on this item to one star; This item is a complete piece of crap. Everything I said in the old review is still mostly true (which you will find below), but the performance of this item has gone downhill. I've owned this item for several months now, and I have only used it 6 - 10 times. This item cannot hold a charge. I fully charged it one time, and then went to use it two days later, and it wouldn't turn on. so i charged it again and let it sit for a few days, turning it on and off every time I went into the bathroom. It would turn on each time, but there was a sense of not having enough power - it performed like the battery was low; it didn't have enough power in it, so it moved slower than normal. After a few days, it started running like it had power in it, so I decided to use it the next day. But low and behold, only the flashlight would turn on. I charged it again, and went to use it the next day and it wouldn't turn on; i was in the shower. I put it down and after about 5 minutes it turned on. So i used it for a bit, and then i accidentally hit the power button and turned it off (see more about the inconvenient location of the power button below in the old review). So then when i tried to turn it back on, it did that annoying thing of turning itself off one second after turning it back on (several times of this), and then only the flashlight would turn on. The flashlight shut off after a few seconds, and then not even that would turn back on. Also, this item is not skin safe. It will still cut the crap out of you, even when you use the guide comb. You have to be very, very careful when using it because the slightest bit of contact tears you up down there. This item is a complete waist of money and not worth buying at all. ---- old review: It says in the description that this is skin safe, and uses a ceramic plate instead of metal, however, this product will still cut you down there; in that regard it isn't any different than using a regular trimmer. But if you use the included guide comb, then you won't have any problems. But using the comb doesn't allow you to get as close a shave as you would like. It does have a flashlight right under the blade so you can see what you are doing, which I think is really neat and very helpful. I would still recommend this product as I haven't found anything better yet. One other downside though is the location of the power button. I quite often end up turning the device off because the power button basically sits under my thumb when I hold the device. The tiniest bit of pressure is enough to turn off the product. it's kind of annoying to say the least. Other than those two things, this product is great.
