Got the lawnmower assembled according to instructions and it would not start. Four lights show that the battery is fully charged but I get n response when I try to start it. I would rather have it fixed than go through the hassle of a return. Just before returning the product because I could not get it to start, I found a small card attached to the handle with starting instructions. Using these instructions it started immediately and ran very well. I was impressed with the cutting ability and it was very easy to use because it's so light.     • Replacement batteries are unavailable
After 2 message conversations with Tools For Convenience, regarding the availability of replacement batteries, as we all know, they admitted that there are none available. Batteries at some point fail to hold a charge, they could last years, or only months, but not being able to procure additional batteries is ludicrous! I reason I wanted to purchase a cordless electric mower to lessen my impact on the environment, but when the batteries fail, I would be forced to dispose of this one, and purchase another. Not environmentally friendly in my opinion. This mower is made by Tacklife, and it is exactly like their model only with different decals, they too have informed me they don't make replacement batteries either. ... show more

    • Works great for small areas
UPDATE: I am now attempting to use the mower for the second time. Full charged battery, key inserted properly, and it will not start. Nothing. Totally dead. It appears this is like the old Yogo cars from the 80’s. We callled them disposable cars. It appears this mower is a 1 and done type deal. And still no response from the manufacture. Mower is very light weight which I love. It is a bit difficult to turn. I have a small front yard and only slightly larger back yard (my entire lot is less than a quarter acre and only a fraction of that is grass). It takes 3 full charges to mow everything. For me it is fine because I’m older so I do the front one day and the next day I do half the back in the AM then recharge the battery and do the second half in the evening. I did email the company about the poor battery performance but they never responded. ... show more

If it hits something you miss. When u pick up the yard it turns off for 10 mins and will not restart. This time is included in the 30 min run time. Charge takes 3 hr and u only get 30 mins. Shyt machine waste of money. As u can tell.fro. photo the grass is low and it only cut the larger part of front yard. Notthe street strip or the strip on the left side. Total disappointment. Just FYI. It is not returnable..not mentioned in the description. Even tho it has no oil or gas feature. ... show more

I love this thing. For several years I’ve had a push reel mower. But I moved and my yard is a little bigger and I just didn’t want to spend THAT much time cutting my yard anymore. This is basically the next best thing. It’s not self propelling but it’s lightweight. Also the way it folds makes it very easy to store. I’ve only used it once but it cut very well. I have a decent sized yard and I was able to cut front and back on one charge. If you are cutting heavy think grass/weeds this is not a good buy for you. It doesn’t have that kind of power. But just for your average yard maintenance it gets the job done well. ... show more

    • There is no service center available for any questions or problems
When you get the mower, there is some assembly required. The directions generally are adequate. The mower is lightweight and cuts well. It is not easy to maneuver, though. It runs about 20-30 minutes on the charged battery. Here is my problem: There are no directions for removing the battery in order to recharge it. It clicks into place in the mower, but there is no obvious way to get it out. Also, the phone number in the included pamphlet is not helpful. So, right now I have a mower that I have used once and cannot use again. ... show more

This is a great little mower. It can handle heavy cuts of grass but use common sense when deciding when to cut your lawn. I have 15,000 square feet of lawn and mow with a John Deere tractor. I use this mower for tight areas and around shrubs instead of a grass trimmer, and I have a lot of shrubs and tight areas. This little mower is perfect and the quality of cut is top notch. Buy one and you’ll agree it’s a great choice. ... show more
