Dewalt Battery 5Ah fits well. It works good for breakaway on Car and 6 Lug Pickup. It has the safely stop to prevent fast spinning upon breakaway preventing lug from flying out. I'd rather be in total control, but the logic is built in. 3 strengths to select when tightening. The lowest or weakest setting works well going back on so you can use a torque wrench to finish if wanted. The other two settings are stronger torque. Used for rotating tires on 2 cars. No Problem. Good product at a reasonable price. Needed it to take off an anode rod on a hot water heater. Worked well and my Dewalt 20V Max batteries fit perfectly. Seems to be well built and it is heavy. It doesn't have the little ball that hold the socket in but socket fit snuggly and did not slip off. Highly recommended. ... show more

This Cerycose 1/2" drive 700ft-lbs impact gun resembles Milwaukee's 1st Generation M18 mid-torque impact wrench (which I used to own). I uploaded pictures showing the Cerycose side-by-side with Milwaukee's 2nd gen mid-torque to show that it's pretty compact at only 7 inches long from back of the gun to the tip of the 1/2 in. anvil. I was lucky to pick it up in the low $60s after a 30% off coupon. As for the overall look and feel, my first impression is it's a nice quality tool. The rubber grips on the handle make it feel solid and it's the same color as my Makita tools. I gave it a quick try on a few lug nuts torqued to 95ft-lbs. No problems hitting them off with just a few impacts. Initial observations are it "feels" like it has about the same power as my M18 2nd gen mid torque, although a more detailed test is needed. The 5 star rating is more for the look and feel of the tool, although it seems to perform well upon initial trials. ... show more

my husband does some car Maintenance in our garage, at 65 cracking lug nuts by hand is not fun, so we bought this value priced impact gun. He tested it on three cars, worked like a charm. Just wasn’t willing to buy the DeWalt version because we don’t use it that often.
