If you have thick and/or wavy hair like I do, don’t expect miracles. It would probably take me an hour to straighten my whole head of medium length hair with this. But it’s fine for a touch up if I’ve already done my hair at home and then was out and about sweating or in humidity etc. …also helpful to do just a couple pieces in the front and pull my hair back into a smoother ponytail or bun. I bought this to help with getting ready in the mornings and to be able to straighten my hair on the go. It is convenient in the sense that you can use it anywhere but it doesn’t really do much to flatten/straighten my hair. My hair did feel smooth after using it though. First off, I have thick, long, color treated 2C/3A hair. I bought this to travel to a country where I'm not sure I'll be able to rely on hair dryers in our room. I didn't expect this straightener to perform miracles but I was a bit surprised at how much work it took me to achieve decent results. Maybe it's my technique - I'll continue to work at it. Normally, I use a round brush and blow out my hair. This could not get my hair nearly as straight/silky as I can using my normal routine. I also used up most of a fully-charged battery to straighten my air-dried hair. I used a second full battery to touch it up and it still looks frizzy. I like the size, color and that is wireless so good for on the go or if you are traveling. I feel it probably work better in shorter lengths hair. The battery doesn’t last that long since I have long hair so I barely have enough battery to finished my hair.

It made my hair very flyaway and did not straighten like it said. Maybe my hair is too fine and thin. And the button to shut off is a problem as it is always hit when using. I plan on returning.
