Purchased this for my mother to help her with trimming the tall grass and weeds in places around the yard. Blades are sharp and they trim very easy, quick work! (I tested them out) One thing to note is the safety connection, if the two-prong jumper isn't connected/plugged into the back of the unit, it won't start. Just something to be aware of. Safety is good, but if you forget... you'll be scratching your head for a bit. The quick interchangeable connectors are quick and easy too. Much easier than some other brands I saw out there that required dismantling to change out the blade type.

This tool fits the bill for me because I have to do only a small amount of trimming. However it would not be very useful if you have a large amount of trimming to do. The safety feature of holding or pressing two triggers tires my hand and I do not like that feature. This is definitely not a toy since it cuts well and seems sturdy. I does have trouble cutting branches over about 1/4 inch since the branch gets stuck in the cutter and freezes the tool. Once the branch is removed cutting resumes normally.

This set is great and perfect for my smaller hands. It does a great job and I really appreciate the safety features. This has solved a few problems for me. My only complaint is there not being a way to keep it running without squeezing the handle. My arthritis gives me problems so it takes a little longer than I would like. But none seem to have that feature (,probably for safety).

This trimmer is great for trimming bushes or grass. It can NOT handle any thicker branches. I tried cutting some branches off my tree and it got stuck in the blades. If you just need a hedge trimmer to do basic bush shaping these will be fine. If you think you are going to try using these for any larger branches it will not work. I’m going to keep this since I have bushes to trim but I am now going to buy pruning shears to chop some thicker branches of a tree that somehow grew in the corner of my yard.

I have used the trimmer twice and I am happy so far. I was manly looking for something to cut overgrown grass/weeds that grow in between stones in our backyard, so I needed something light and with good maneuverability. The battery life is a bit short, but other than that it is quite easy to use and it actually surpassed me with its strength in cutting relatively thicker stems and branches.
