This Belkin 3.5 iPhone XR plug in works great. Much better than the black spring type. After 5 months, it is still working well. The short length is fine. Sound is great in my 2007 Honda CRV. Would buy again if I needed another. From Time to time, I need to unplug and replug back in but that is probably the iPhone sort of locking up... don't think the Belkin cable is the issue. Arthur H. Don't be fooled by this product: It's still a great product however, Disclaimer: It is NOT for Airpods Max! That is an almost identical yet exclusive cable sold only by Apple! This is a great little (long) cable for transporting audio from your iPhone or iPad to an output. I bought it on a whim of its price being so low compared to the cable I actually needed for my Airpods Max and didn't pay attention to the description. I am still pleased with the purchase as it suits other needs for me to play music from my iPhone/iPad to my computer for lazy mode music while gaming. FUN! ... show more

Already stopped working after 5 months. I thought buying a name brand like Belkin would be better than the others even though it is more expensive, but it didn't even last as long as the less costly no name brands. Wouldn't buy again.

I drive a 2011 Prius, which does NOT have Bluetooth capability. What it DOES have is a standard stereo mini-plug jack for "Auxiliary" on the radio. This cord lets me plug in my iPhone and listen to the music stored there. Great product, works like a charm.

    • Expensive; receives iphone calls to car stereo, but too much feedback noise

I have a 2010 Honda Element... recently new to me. In my old 2008 Element, I had a splitter cable to connect my old iphone to the aux port and the neighboring power port. Everything worked perfectly... iphone music, navigation app sound, and phone calls coming through the car speakers. Unfortunately with the new iphone lightning cable... new phones... ios... etc., it seems one can no longer easily connect up to the old Honda Element aux port and power port. First splitter cable I tried, I got music and voice directions from iphone navigation apps, but phone calls would not come through car speaker. So I spent $68 with tax combing a belkin 3.5mm aux to lightning, with the Belkin Rockstar adapter... + my iphone usb charging cable + anker dual USB charge adapter in my power port. On a good note, with everything connected... iphone - ROckstar adapter - two cords plugged into aux and anker usb charger, I CAN get iphone calls to come through, + music and navigation app voice directions. But there's incredible feedback in the system, so if you try to just unplug the iphone and leave all the other cord stuff, you get loud feedback noise coming through the car's speakers. So no thank you... that is not gonna work on my ears. It'll be a little more expensive, but I'll be better off changing out the factory head unit to an aftermarket bluetooth-capable stereo. Even a cheap one will be much better. ... show more
