Ah, window blinds—the unsung heroes of home décor! I recently embarked on a quest to find the perfect set for my windows, and let me tell you, it’s been quite the adventure. I ordered my first set, filled with visions of stylishly blocking out the sun and keeping my nosy neighbors at bay. But when they arrived, I realized I had mistakenly ordered the size for a dollhouse. I mean, I love my windows, but even they aren’t that small! The blinds were so tiny that I could’ve used them as a hat for my cat. So, back they went, and I received a refund faster than I could say, “Who measures these things, anyway?” Not one to be deterred, I decided to give it another shot. The seller was super helpful and sent me a new set, which I was convinced would finally fit. When they arrived, I was ready to celebrate—until I opened the package and discovered… they were the exact same size as the first set! I guess my windows were just destined to be dressed in miniature fashion. But fear not! The seller was a trooper and quickly sorted it out, sending me the right size this time. Finally, after what felt like a sitcom-worthy series of mix-ups, I installed the blinds, and let me tell you, they look fantastic! They fit perfectly, block out the sun like champions, and have that “professional adult” vibe I was going for. After looking for a while - and never being able to quite find the right width and height even from multiple other "custom" blind vendors... I finally found this listing. And it's perfect. It looks great and so much better than the old retractable shade we had. The included instructions were clear - although this was not my first rodeo when it comes to hanging blinds. It was extremely helpful to have an extension bit for my driver - as working close to the window frame for an "inside" mount makes for tight quarters - along with needing to be able to reach through the mounting brackets to screw in the provided screws. The only thing I note is that the end-caps of the bottom portion of the blinds don't snap in firmly. I'll use a little glue to ensure they don't pop out. ... show more
