This drill set is just what I wanted. Firt of all, it's very handy and not too bulky like most ot the drills. Even though is not as big, it does have some good power. I will only use this for small jobs around the house and for car maintenance. When it arrived the battery was already charged, but I love the fact that it is as I can charge it anywhere without taking major space. The battery plugs directly to the battery for charging. This drill is okay for lightweight jobs around the house, but it really doesn't have the power for anything major. The drill bits that come with it are pretty much junk. They can't be used for anything more than replacing screws in pre-drilled holes without breaking. I will stick with Dewalt.

I really like this compact drill. It's very light weight yet rugged. Battery life is decent for it's size and recharges quickly. It Came with an assortment of drill bits,screwdriver bits an adapter so one can use 1/4 inch drive sockets that also come with the kit. The best part of the accessories is the flexible extension. I can get to tight spaces that were not possible before.Plus it has a case that holds everything. The only downside is that there is no switch to provide continuous operation . I plugged the power adapter into the battery (there's no charger base to set the battery in) and once it was fully charged, slipped it smoothly into the drill grip until it clicked into place. I was then able to loosen the chuck easily by hand, and insert and then secure first a drill bit and then a Phillips head screwdriver tip into place to drill holes and then fasten screws for the blinds I needed to install. Everything worked smoothly, including the direction selector, speed selector, and trigger, and the tool feels very comfortable in my hand. I look forward to taking care of many tasks with it for years to come. ... show more

I would not use this for big projects, but it is a great kit to have in the truck or closet for small jobs. It some with a nice selection of accessories and I love the orange bendable extension. That is really helpful and I haven't seen one like that before. The overall quality is fine, but not contractor grade by any stretch. Everything is definitely functional and the case is great. The LED light is not bright enough. For recharging, you simply plug the cord into the battery and there is an indicator light on the A/C adapter, red -charging, green- ready. I look at this as a nice and handy set that you can grab on the run when needed. Plus, its size works nicely for everyone in the family. ... show more

I'm very pleased with this drill and the accessories that come with it. It's in a sturdy case where the bits and other pieces fit securely. I hate when pieces fall out of a case, and so far, no issue with that. As a larger, taller woman, this drill is just the right size for my hands. It's light enough to not be cumbersome and comes with a nice basic variety of bits. It has a flexible extension shaft included as well.
