This cordless hand drill has a heavy, solid feel. It fits comfortably in the hand and balances nicely. The battery has a charge indicator light and fits tightly when properly inserted – clicks – give it a double-check tug. You get a set of OK quality drills, sockets, various screw blades and security screw blades. You get a short and long screwdriver tools which fit into the drill like drills. You get a flexible driver extension. The instruction pamphlet is adequate. The sockets are 5mm to 13mm. FEATURES: - Reversible button next to the trigger for your thumb – if you press it in, the drill is in reverse. I would have preferred the reverse button to work the opposite way because my thumb tended to accidentally press the reverse button when I wanted clockwise direction. If you move the reverse button halfway in, it locks the trigger. - The trigger controls variable speed from very slow to very fast. - There is a slider button on the top which is marked H(igh) above L(ow) – up is documented as High (position 1) and down is documented as Low (position 2) and up is documented as Low and down is documented at High (???). I don't think the button is upside down because if reversed the L would be upside down. Personally, I had trouble telling the difference in speed and had difficulty moving the slider switch – they made it hard because changing speed while running is documented as causing damage to the drill. I found the variable speed trigger more useful for speed control. - There is a torque scale for 1-18 (no idea what each gradation represents in torque foot-pound measurement – webpage states 45 newton millimeters to 45 newton meters(?) - the documentation just states to do test screwing – bolting to determine the correct setting to use). When the set torque is reached, the clutch will slip. - Battery removal/charging – documentation says to press 2 buttons on the side of the battery, however, there is only one button on the battery end. The battery took several hours to charge, and I worked for about four hours on a wood project drilling holes and applying screws. The battery still had power. For long projects, a second battery pack would be useful. The battery is designed to be separated from the drill for charging – safety – and for storage. - The charger is universal – 100-240V, 50/60Hz. - The chuck key locking system is easy to use (2 adjustable rings) – I found that I could quickly open and close the chuck by holding the tip ring and using the variable speed trigger at slow speed to open and close the chuck. Notes: All of my old drill accessories- all sizes of drills, grinders, routers and even a liquid pump fit into the drill and the chuck had sufficient grip to hold them. All of the included accessories fit nicely in a 1 qt Ziplock bag. I did not try the impact feature because I do not have any impact attachments. I am very happy with this order.

Our maintenance person has recently quit at the apartment complex I live in, so when it comes to things that need fixed, well, you either do it yourself or it doesn't get done. I've never found myself in need of a cordless drill before, but life has a funny way of bringing things to you. There's a saying out here amongst us residents... "this place is held together by duct tape and super glue" .... which is a nice way of saying that the cheapest materials were used, and things fall apart quickly when just living life. I had a kitchen cabinet decide it was quitting and it came off in my hand as I was just trying to put away some dishes, so I brought out the drill and fixed it back in place. This time, with better hardware. My front door has given me issues since moving in here, too. The middle and bottom hinges came completely off, leaving my door sitting on the ground, and a 4-inch gap between my apartment and the common hallway. Apartment manager said he couldn't get to it until the next day, which was a no go for me. Where I live, you MUST be secured or else your things may walk off in the middle of the night - or day if you aren't home. Turns out, the former maintenance person used hardware that was too small to hold such a heavy door, so it's no wonder it came off. I replaced the door with long screws that weren't going anywhere anytime soon. Needless to say, this thing has come in handy and helped me fix what could have been some serious problems. The battery life is pretty decent (I'm not doing any super heavy construction work, so it's been fine for me) and it's lightweight enough that my 11-year-old was able to use it to remove the blinds hardware he had and hang the hand curtain hardware in his room. The price is great for what you receive, and it all stays nice and tidy in a storage box. Overall, I give it a 10/10 because without this, I would have been in some pretty sticky situations.

CORDLESS NOT WIRELESS i should lead w/ this. usually we think of wireless as a remote autopilot sort if cellphone- like w/ no long tangled awkward and messy power cord or 10 foot jack wire like sort of but that's just a matter of wording symantix WIRELESS DRILL SEEMS PROVOCATIVE THOUGH BUT NOT THE INTENDED MESSAGE .....the intended message for my REVIEW TO ANYONE INTRRESTED IS>>>> it is a great cordless hand drill w/ battery pack that can easily be changed when needed. EZ charging procedure and excellent accessories are included these guys put good thought into this product that helps you me the customer when it comes to ownership and use GREAT VALUE you can spend $300 on a cordless drill but WHY? when you can have this one - really i think its a great drill and i love it:)
