Definitely worth the money. One thing I really appreciate is that the tool works smoothly when used correctly. For new users, here are a few tips to help protect the cable and improve safety: * If the cable gets obviously stuck, it’s best to stop rotating immediately. Try slowly moving the cable forward and backward repeatedly to loosen the blockage instead of forcing it aggressively. * When going through 90° bends or U-shaped pipes, control the cable feeding speed carefully. Pushing too fast can make the cable go beyond your expected range and increase the chance of kinking or damage. * Let the machine do the work instead of applying excessive force. Overall, this tool solved my drain issue quickly and saved me a service call. Highly recommended!

This drain snake could not be a better buy. Easy to use, effective and my Dewalt battery fit and worked perfectly. I used it immediately. It had zero problems navigating the turns of my shower drain. The issue wasn't the initial drain P trap, but something further. With 25', it cleared the issue and saved the day. Excellent product and easy to use and clean. Don't hesitate to get this! This made the job so much easier. I would have given five stars if the auger was longer. It reached the edge of the clog, but did not clear it al the way. I would like to know if it could be replaced with a fifty foot. I couldn’t find any way to contact the manufacturer to find out. All in all it worked so much easier than a manual one.

I rarely write product reviews, but I have been so pleased with this tool that I'm hoping others can benefit from my experience. If you have used augers in the past, you know the kinds of problems they present (hard to feed, kinked cables, difficult to retrieve, lack of power, cheap cables, ...). I have used this tool to clean six different drains of various diameters, and I have had none of the usual problems. It feeds and retrieves the cable without the "normal" hassles and the forward/reverse/neutral lever is so easy to use. The unit has plenty of power to clean most household blockage, and it even worked to clear a very stubborn clog that I had. The unit does not come with a battery (clearly noted in the description), but my Dewalt batteries fit and worked perfectly. I am so use to sellers over promising and under delivering that this unit took me by surprise. It more than lives up to my expectations. By the way, the delivery was super fast (thank you).

This item sucks. It almost destroyed my drain and could have caused thousands of dollars in damage. I actually ordered a second one because I thought the first was defective, but both broke on their very first use. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a refund on one of them because I didn't use it right away. Do NOT trust the reviews. You'll save yourself a lot of money, frustration, and headaches by avoiding this product. I rarely leave reviews, but this is honestly one of the worst products I've purchased on Amazon. Happy to provide proof of my purchases if needed. Amazon should really stop promoting or vouching for this item.

It used it to clear a slow sink drain and it worked quickly.
