I bought this for some light trimming about a month before Hurricane Ian. We lost power for over a week and with gas hard to come by this was the only power tool I had available to clean up the roughly 30 cubic yards of downed limbs from my maple tree. I would charge the battery in the evening off the generator and run the saw all day clearing the yard. This little puppy cut through branches 8 inches thick and kept going for the whole week. It's been almost a year and the motor is starting to give out, honestly not bad considering how much I overworked it. I would never recommend using the tool like that unless it was an emergency, but I'm really proud of it for performing as well as it did and I bought a second one as a replacement. Hopefully I'll never have to work it that hard again. If you're going to use it for its intended purpose you're going to get good performance.

I own several Kimo cordless tools so I thought I would give this little chainsaw a try. I had a lot of brush and small trees on the backside of the property that I just purchased and this lil dude chewed up everything I threw at it. Battery life is decent but I have 6 batteries for other devices that work on this also so I could just keep trucking. You need to oil the chain and they provide a small bottle for oil with the saw. I found if you oil once before you start then about every 10 mins after that is what worked for me. Keep an eye on the chain if it becomes loose you will be able to tell by how it is cutting, just tighten up, oil and go at it.

The battery that came with the chainsaw would never charger. Ordered another battery that would only blink red after charging for hours and also would not charge. I have never been able the get the chainsaw to work and at this point, I don’t know if it’s the batteries, the charger, or the chainsaw. The whole experience has been frustrating and very disappointing and I would not recommend this item at all! Update: customer service did send a replacement saw that works great, but I’m still left with an extra battery that will not charge. The batteries are what appear to be the problem. I’ve had two now that will not charge. I do appreciate customer service responding and making the replacement saw right! Just need a 2nd battery that will work now, but I’m hesitant to order another from Amazon.

I purchased this to cut down brush and prune trees around my yard. The one serious thing I do not like about it is there is a thumb safety switch that you must depress while also pulling the trigger to activate the saw. The thumb switch is it an oddly high placement, which prevents you from having the best grip. The saw works well, and I appreciate having two batteries, but after one hour of work, I have a blister on my thumb due to the odd placement of the safety switch. If I purchased another saw similar to this, I would pay more attention to the placement of the safety switch. Possibly if you had larger hands, this might not be a problem. If you are a woman and you have medium to small hands, I would choose another saw.

I recently purchased the KIMO 6-inch mini chainsaw cordless for some much-needed yard work. I have a small but growing collection of KIMO tools, so when I started looking for a cutting tool, I wanted to stick with the same brand. Not only are they great value and work very well, but the batteries can be shared between all tools. As someone who doesn't have a lot of experience with powered cutting tools, I was nervous about using a full-sized chainsaw. However, I found this smaller version to be extremely helpful and easy to use. What I loved about this chainsaw is its lightweight and portable design, weighing just a bit over 2 lbs and measuring less than 1.5 feet. This made it perfect for getting into hard-to-reach places and especially for ladder work, where a large gas chainsaw would be difficult to carry and start. This mini chainsaw is also very efficient. I was able to run it for about 30 minutes, providing plenty of cutting time. It was also straightforward to install, with only one screw needed to adjust chain tension. I thought it would be way more complex than it actually, which is a relief. Even though I'm a beginner, I had no problem using it, and it made gardening pruning and branch cutting so much easier. It came with everything I needed, including the saw, and all accessories. All in all, I am very impressed with this product, and it exceeded my expectations!

Have several items from them and the batteries are the problem. Will show charged and only run tool less than 5 seconds and show dead Product is good but batteries suck. They know the problem but want me to prove it! DON'T BUY THESE PLEASE!!!
